I love this movie and all, but the fact that Mike completely gives up after this hand for months of his time is baffling. Homie. There was ONE combination of cards that you lose to. He just so happened to have it. I understand getting felted and taking some time to ponder it all. But giving it all up because one hand? You had the second nuts. Either calling the 15k or jamming are both good options here. You just got unlucky

After Vito got rid of Fanucci, the local slimeball, he was respected and feared. He did the whole neighborhood a huge favor, and the cops couldn't have cared less.

The thing that still blows my mind is that Teddy KGB did not have the nuts. 4-9's could easily have beaten his aces full. But no one ever brings that up. It's absolutely possible. But yet he was so confident that his aces full were good.
