    Where is the parking brake positioned when the fel is on?? Is it secured underneath the black bracket or is it floating freely once on? The parking brake being the kickstand that kicks out and holds the fel in place when you take it off

    Great video. The loader is one thing, but auto connect deck on the Deere is incredibly handy. When I bought my 2032R, I had no idea how often I’d be taking the loader and deck on and off. Deere makes it very easy.

    Thank you for taking the time to create this! Excellent video on adding the bagger. Wish I had watched this before instead of 3/4 of the way through assembly. Would saved a lot of time and frustration dealing with the instructions in the manual.

    • @RunningWithSauce
      @RunningWithSauce หลายเดือนก่อน

      The manual should have been edited by someone who's never been shown how to assemble the mower. It clearly wasnt. This is the price of entry for any manuals. If someone who's never assembled it has to ask a ton of questions, youve failed. I'm a firefighter and previous mechanic and I wanted to burn the OEM manual.

    Thanks for the video much better than the manual - do I need to remove the mulching lever & kit before I do this, or can I leave it on?

    • @RickyB686
      @RickyB686 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DonTimmons-kh4dz I ended up taking off everything and installing the bagger kit. The one thing I do, if I want to mulch and have less through the chute, is install (with 3 bolts) the plastic piece from the mulcher that makes the chute opening smaller. I also kept my mulching blades installed, and the lift is fine!

    The hardest part of removing the mower deck on my JDx350 is getting the J-clips out. It looks so easy on brand new ones, but I have lost a lot of skin on my hands trying the get these pins all the way out.

  • @clovehitch1854
    @clovehitch1854 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is just short of worthless. Lining up the spring loaded pins into the draft arm holes on my X500 is very difficult due to poor design and a way too tight tolerance. Some farms have gravel driveways that are not perfectly level but Deere didn't put that in the design equation. My neighbor agrees and has the dealer come and pick up their mower twice a year to avoid dealing with the deck. He'd rather pay the couple hundred bucks. Getting the pedal up and locked with the lift lever is not so easy either.

    No useful information here. My mower deck was a pain to slide under tractor. Not as shown here. The draft bar instructions were horrible. He shows it sliding right on without explaining orientation or tension. Drive belt demo is a joke. No way he just pops that on. The tension arm tension is tremendous. And now I am stuck and needing help because I can't get belt on. Someone was obviously holding the tension arm for him. I had an LT190 and they had a tension release handle and it was straightforward. JD seems to be engineering their products to be less user friendly. If it were as easy as this video then you wouldn't need a video.

    Never liked the hydraulic couplers that John Deere uses. Dirt, grass and other debris gets into those couplers especially the females. Ever since I switched to Flat face couplers, I don't have that issue. Also wish they would incorporate the hydraulic quick connect valve bank that has a handle for quick connections. So much room for improvments.
