Babe Ruth Fancy Curves
มุมมอง 202K16 ปีที่แล้ว
One of Babe's short films where he's teaching women to play baseball (hit, field and pitch).
I don’t care what anyone says, Ruth is the GOAT of Baseball
babe probably took a few of these gals out
if you've ever been poor or doubted by others then you have a reason to look up to the Bambino, i think that's where so much of the pull he had comes from, at least for me. an ace of a man who rose above everything thrown his way to make history on his own terms, changing baseball as a game while he did it. that's the American grit and spirit that I know, and he had it in spades. he wasn't a perfect man, but neither is New York a perfect city. perfection doesn't leave nearly as much of an impression.
I gotta see my manager 😂😂😂
I’ve never heard Babe Ruth’s voice before I watched this. He sounds exactly how I thought he would LOL
He speaks exactly the way I imagine he'd sound.
4:24 "the little girl...."
Were gloves that universal back then? Because Ruth being a lefty and the kid pitching was a righty through me off.
That’s exactly what I thought his voice would sound like lol
In Ruth's day pitchers threw 60-70mph max. Most insanely difficult pitches like splitter, 90mph slider, etc didn't exist back then. It's just not the same game. Randy Johnson for instance, heck even Edwin Jackson or Victor Zambrano for instance would embarass Ruth if he stepped into a batters box today. If anybodys numbers deserve asterisks, his do
Agree, not the same game. 60-70 seems a bit of an exaggeration but I get your point. Give moderns players a 54 oz bat against 70 mph and see how they do? And Jeckinson's research is based more on home run distance (feet traveled) and not stats and numbers (subjective). Ruth played at the peak of America's newspaper culture. NY media included as many as 18 newspapers. When it came to the objective accounts of actual game events, .......there was a clear pattern of consistency. Whether you think Ruth could play now is irrelevant, what is incredible is his batting power is unmatched by any hitter of any era.
This guy was a rock star before rock ever existed. You can just tell he had a mischievous side that couldn't be contained and I bet he was a blast to hang out with.
Shorts on pretty girls was considered rather daring back around 1930.
2024 and I'm getting lessons from Babe Ruth
I'm surprised Babe didn't try a drag bunt. Get it?
Well, that was pretty entertaining.
😊qq
His manager is his wife! Ha ha ha
They Never wanted Babe to Manage after he Retired. They said he Couldn't Manage himself. I Beg to Disagree. He would have had his Players Loose as a Goose 🪿 😅🤣
He was offered the manager position of the Detroit Tigers by Team owner Frank Navin, but Ruth turned it down. He was offered Newark by Colonel Jacob Ruppert, but turned it down as well.
Amazing how much he resembles Jonathan Winters.
This is so corny it’s endearing…
Babe Ruth cheesecake!
Oh,mr. Ruth! Great etiquette and manners back then! Oh babe! Awesome movie and classic!
Well this took a turn for the hilarious
@holeemolee8323. Is that the best retort you could come up with? Wow what a genius you truly are!
Amazing, thanks !
What show was this?
Haha, Holy crap, the ending. This is one of the best things I've ever seen.
World's first trans-woman for the winning Home Run.
First half shot at old Wrigley Firld in So. Los Angeles?
Oh those dumb girls!
The number of views here is an embarrassment. You Tube, as a public service you should promote this.
Impressive. The girls kept it a scoreless tie through 8 inning.
MAGAts would cry about woke Babe Ruth 😂
The gorgeous girl catcher has no mask ! geezo they were tougher and dumber back then
Wow these women were built like Taylor swift
I had to go back and check but there was only 2 on base when Babe said there was 3 letting his grand slam win the game, 4-3. I nit pick but it caused me to check.
After the plate batting help with the young girl, he had 3 more children.
I wish gals looked like that now days!
Cute -- actual instruction mixed with comedy and a guest star. The side-by-side of the golf and baseball swing was especially interesting.
Now most players golf swing the ball out of the park..
That was forbes field he hit that out of. Not a sardine can. A cavernous Cathedral.
Babe was a hit with the ladies.
Some hot dames in this movie.
Funny! Babe Ruth wouldn't be able to make any AAA college team today.
What year is this? Please answer
He moves pretty good for being built like a lunchbox. Natural athlete.
What a great little ditty. Wow. So glad that I found this. History. Babe was great in this!
The Babe ahead of his time being a trans player on a girls team.
😂 True!
How many did he score with? All of them!
No ball player adored children more than Ruth did. Just a big kid.
