100F in Salem, Oregon right now. And 20% humidity. Believe me, feels better than Georgia at 85F with all that humidity. I met a TH-camr in Tennessee. Former Oregonian, moved to Kansas, then a few years later moved to Tennessee. Corn Fed Life is the channel name. Craig and Coreen are their names. I have followed his channel, because he moved from Oregon and we are thinking of doing the same. We'll, thinking less after being back there for 3 weeks. The weather is ugly. The same truck might be in Mexico as well, but I am not sure of that. Keep in mind that California is going stupid high on their emissions rules, and lots of trucks are leaving the state or being crushed. So there are options on used trucks too if willing to make the trip

Those big rounds are a lot of work but make a lot of really nice firewood. Good job! Glad to see the old Ford is earning its keep still.

I enjoy the bigger stuff. The smaller stuff seems to take a lot of time to me. Don't know why, but even with the Champion splitter, I had the same thing. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

I can see haveing a moving 4 way that can be high enough for a bigger round. Would split the 1/4s in to more manageable parts. . Those would have made 1xsomthing, under roof sheeting or out building sideing, or mabe big beams for temporary bracing of something. . But probably would have made junk 2x4, 2x6s with the bigger knots. So yes best to just make wood out of them, especially considering there likely yard trees, with potential metal in them. 0.01c

The tree service company I go through sends off all the good stuff to the mills, or he saves for his mill. The rest goes to 3 of us that can make firewood, so at least it's not all getting chipped. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

@chrisavila2073 yes it is. What's funny when I bought this splitter I didn't really have an idea on being mobile as I have been over the last year, I am thankful I am mobile and being able to afford it too. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
