How did you manage to not short anything while still having the battery plugged in... luck?
Absolutely not my friend, I unplugged battery connector under the flex cable. It can be gently unplugged without having to disconnect daughter board flex cable.
Hi can I ask something. Do you know what is the difference between "sx core" and "sx lite" .. does it mean anything .. Btw you did a great job installing the chip there 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi I'm pretty sure the "Core" is for v1 and v2 switches and "lite" is for the nintendo switch lite :)
Do you know the difference between "New2040Plus" and "RP2040-NS" on the RP2040 PCB?
@@KR_STUVWXY from what I know the plus is programmed/flashed differently and doesn’t use c+, it uses python. But don’t quote me I could be wrong. I’ve never used that chip.

You can google "RP 2040" for Nintendo Switch. Amazon and eBay are 2 of some websites. I purchased this chip from amazon.
Have the exact model laptop, screen cracked. Where do I get an equal or better quality panel?
This specific screen was an eBay purchase. This is my own personal laptop and no issues so far. You can also try www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/HP/14-DQ0001DX/

@@M.V.ELECTRONIX Hey one thing, out of the box its touch screen, is yours you replaced a touch screen? I don't want touch so it would be fine if it's not touch screen on the replacement I order
Yes, the laptop screen I replaced is touch. I'm not too positive but it might have to be touch if your laptop came with a touch display.
@@M.V.ELECTRONIX Indeed. Appreciate hte reply. After contacting a vendor, you can install a non-touch but you need a new ribbon, (30pin mobo side/40 pin panel side. Guess I'll go with touch and disable it in the OS. Cheers!
Is it really that easy?
Having decent solder skills helps a bunch. switch.hacks.guide/ This guide is excellent and clear. Switch Lite requires 2 flex cables with several solder points, regular switch just one flex with 2 solder points.
Which thermal paste do you use? because in the guide it mentions that it should not be non-conductive..
@@Cerber_crypto Yes, thermal paste used in this video is non-conductive. The paste was from cooler master but don't remember the full name. I've ran out and currently using artic mx-4.
