Fun fact a lot of people usually believe a few means about 4 or so. No reason it's not too big and not too little. Also for the little sentences it would sound a bit better if you put a little bit. i.e "I have a little bit of sugar left." Makes it more smoother and also the other way sounds like the sugar is a small creature instead of an object.

"Skeptical" means having doubts or questioning something. When someone is skeptical, they don't easily believe things without evidence or proof. They might ask a lot of questions or want more information before accepting something as true. Hope this helps! :)
