This is my all-time favourite Afrikaans series with superb acting, underscored by Richard Van Der Westhuizen and Louis Van Rensburg's timeless soundtrack. It's far superior to the 2nd series and the terrible movie remake. Carina Human is the real heroine of the story and she truly loved Jacques. Loved the 80s fashion too, especially Karin Retief's outfits that changed with each episode!
