That's probably a MadCatz controller, MadCatz licensed out their controllers to other companies like GameStop who would just rebrand them.

Ik you may already know this but depending on the version of the og Xbox you have, you will have to remove a component inside which is the clock capicator as if your version is not 1.6 than all previous versions of said original Xbox the clock capicator is cheap asf and has the inevitable thing of it leaking acid onto your motherboard and kill it. I recommend doing some research to see what version you have because those after 1.6 don't need to be clock capacitor to be removed but all before that they leak acid and kill your console so remove asap

Playing original Xbox on an hdtv is the way to go with component cable as a lot of games are in 480p, some 720p and a small handful or so at 1080i. The picture quality is better and games with small text/hud are difficult to see on a crt tv.

This really shows how it goes when you’re a retro gamer. This is the exact experience. Have a gang you want to play. Try to do it a curtain way. And doesn’t work. Go buy original hardware and have some problem. Take it back try again and maybe get to play said game

I came here to this video from your other video “So I bought an original Xbox”. I also took a look back in my Backloggery list (interesting website to keep track of all your backlog of video games btw), and… I do not have this game at all. And I have a couple other Spyro titles in my collection but they are on the PlayStation. So… now I’m going to find me my own copy of this game you’re playing in this video, and I’m gunna make sure it’s on Xbox.

I used to have a ogxb back when I was a kid but it was stolen by a punk bastard who I thought was a friend and never saw it again. Then fast forward to 2016 finding a Halo SE Xbox console that still works like it’s brand new at the DAV Thrift Store of IA and buying it for a good price of $150. Began collecting xb titles afterward. As for this video, it was very fun and entertaining to watch.

You must really be averted to PlayStation controllers because all three of those Spyro games are playable on that system, but as far as I can tell, The Eternal Night was not playable on Xbox. I can’t find a copy for OG Xbox or 360 anywhere. Also imo the Duke is the better controller. I didn’t even grow up with it. I just bought the remake of the Duke for Xbox one and I got used to it pretty quickly and now I don’t enjoy the normal remotes.

I'm Gen Z and I grew up with the wii and ps2 and original xbox. Honestly in some ways I strongly prefer the original xbox over the 360, and definitely over the series x and xbox one

I go back and play my PS2 and lags on GTA, Racing, or something with it moving around to fast. I got Simpsons road rage. But preformed well like I remembered as a kid. But any big map, shoot em up games or even racing. I recommend on Xbox.

I think somethings wrong with the hard drive you got. The one I got made my xbox download a update after first booting it back on and in the area your getting the not formatted thing mine just says how much space is free. Make sure you check the sellers review and make sure it's a first party hard drive

Got recommended this today. Great video. I bought an original xbox from a broken console pile in a store and it works. I just need to buy an adapter for my madcatz wireless controller i've had for years and then i'm set to game.

All the Sonic games on the OG Xbox (besides Shadow) are based as fuck. Heroes, the classics in Mega Collection +, Riders, all great games and tons of variety.

Discs are non-rewritable for antipiracy reasons, so all save data is written to the internal hard drive
