Talking about the first guy. 😂 First time seeing a pathfinder fan react to dc20, but the biases are radiating through the screen... He really Ignored all the unique things , such as prime modifier, deaths door mechanics, Spell customisation, Spell duels, Two players combo spelling, Unique multi class system, weapon styles, mana point system (ditching slots for spells and prepared spells) ..... Barely mentioned any of the actual unique mechanics of dc20, and just said "this has nothing, that pathfinder doesn't have" 😂 (I found out about dc20 recently through Bob the builder, and thats how i found out about dungeon coach, so i am no fan by any means, i am just unbiased. The game made 2 million dollars on Kickstarter, and this first guy just couldn't accept that maybe, people just enjoy the game and see potential. I know dc20 has been really inspired by 5e and pathfinder, which is obvious since how big they are... so i like 5e, pathfinder seems cool, and i think dc20 has potential.... Maybe you could have been less biased. Cause I could tell you were biased from your tone in the first minute 😂

My elf barbarian has knowledge history, because it came with a background, but, it's been really handy, and let's me the player excuse a lot of my sword coast knowledge... This elf has lived on the sword coast for 200 years, he might be a moron but stuff that happened in that te frame is current events to him.. the time of troubles? The spell plague, yeah that was crazy... And then Selûne fought Shar in the sky over Waterdeep and we all got commemorative beer mugs. He has no knowledge religion, but spent a lot of time showing up to holy days because generally they have a festival, food and drink associated with them, also Plays and stuff... So he knows a lot about the gods as if they were a day time soap opera, because I'm pretty sure that's the sort of theatre that's available in Waterdeep. "Chauntea hates Malar because of what Malar said about Mielikki, and I'm pretty sure she's shacking up with Lathander, buuuut she's mad at him because of that time he said his name was Amaunator and tried to chat up Sune".

Question: if you open a bag of holding underwater, does it automatically get destroyed? The volume of a bag of holding is set, as is the max load in weight. Water flooding in, plus the high density items already inside it, could easily over fill it, destroying it.

Gygax came from a period of wargames where only the wargame's referees fully knew the rules and all the other players didn't. You also have to see OD&D and AD&D was not a role-playing game to Gygax, but a wargame. It was also written in a time when people were still trying to figure out what role-playing games were. This was only 5 years after OD&D came out and revolutionized the gaming world. So Gygax was very stuck in his wargaming ways.

Hmm... I think I'd go with Wed: D&D Kobolds - An old reliable, fun for low level adventures, and potentially even high levels with the right plays. Bed: Encounter a D&D Mimic once, and you'll remember it for a lifetime. Behead: Dreadwolves from Deadlands have the potential to not only cause TPK such as some of the monsters Eoin referenced, but also can completely end a PC with a single scratch.

Took 2 years to finish Pandemic Legacy. The three of us carefully planned and coordinated every move and we still only won maybe 60% of the time. Brilliant game.
