Nike and Adidas keep goin to the past while their competitors like Hoka and are looking to the future. Adidas getting AMM and Clot seems like going with Nike's exes. Nike is reaching out to old staff instead of hiring new ones. Hoka dropped a collab with a random collaborator, Paria Farzaneh and did something innovative and different. ON hasn't found their footing yet but they're on more peoples feet out here in Cali than New Balance. They're on their way. PS: Y'all killin me with these uploads.

Didn’t know what you guys were talkin bout the EQL thing til I looked into it. What EQL did was try to censor any future criticism because folks will know they gonna get shit on if they go public and talk about the lack of fairness in their service. Respect the show and the opinions presented, but all this talk of commercials and “creative marketing” is a moot point especially when it comes to Nike. Social engineering is one of the brand’s strongest abilities; some may argue even more than design. They don’t NEED to do a campaign or commercial anymore. That sneaky post of Gentry wearing the 2/3 and the following comment sections were all the brand needed to determine if a bigger campaign was needed. Something like a flagship Air Max was always gonna be pushed. AMM and OG Chicago 2 were enough for Nike to know any 2 going forward gonna ‘do what they gonna do’.

Damn that runner question got me thinkin. Now you got me thinkin if 992s, 993s, etc are runners. I think most people define runners as shoes there are lowtop, lightweight shoe shoes whose primary purpose is running and secondary is being fly. I don’t think an AM1 qualifies.
