Appreciate the post & info, but this technique is very time consuming imho… needing to pre-fold & paste multiple times/ edges/ layers. There is another tutorial that puts the filling in first before doing pretty much the same folding pattern. Advantage is you just have to paste once at the very end to close up the triangle pocket, which is much faster inhmo.

Base leg for the runway is quite hairy and not shown at the beginning. Base leg in this circuit means flying toward a huge vertical wall of rock until you can almost touch it, then a steep left turn for final. Breathtaking for first time travellers.
