Is anyone familiar with legend of Metropolis triangle. The region within the triangle has bizarre people, if you put out pet water come back an hour its covered in a slimy film. All that and the people give ya a long look..

Oh, you should've seen the old Ironton, OH/Russell, KY one. Not only did it have the metal grate decking but it had two 90 degree turns on it!! It's deck was 21ft wide but THAT included a sidewalk! I believe I read the actual driving lates were right at 17ft. The first time I rode across it on my motorcycle (bc it was a fear I needed to conquer) I almost had an anxiety attack. It was easy after that! It's now been replaced. I wish they would've kept it for foot traffic or non motorized vehicles. If I was to ever get to where this one is I'd be anxious to cross it. It's longer but I'd still do it.

We all had end footage of us crossing the line as they carried on filming the finish line loved to have seen that.

Want to find this place. Directions are scarce. Out FR 61 from 24th st, about 2.5 miles? I hope. Going to go looking.

34 years ago today, on a Sunday too. I ran 4 Marathons in my life in 1988,1991,1992 I love to see anything from this time period especially running.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for 4 nights while visiting Santa Fe. I will definitely say it's a well maintained campground. You can tell the management takes pride in this campground. Very clean and a fabulous dog park. However, I'm really not a fan of KOA's. To me, they are very expensive. Heck, we paid a little of $300 for 4 nights. I will say that we were able to make a reservation on a short notice, about a week out so I'm happy for that. Other campgrounds were booked. If I had looked harder and had more time to make a reservation somewhere else, I probably would have found something a lot cheaper than what we paid. But, it's water under the bridge and yes, I would stay here again if I was in a bind. Very nice campground!

Q: The steam locomotives of yesteryear had real bells; do modern diesels have actual bells, or is that an amplified electronic sound effect? I've been wondering about that for years... Thx for a great quickie vid!!! 😺💕🐾
