Matthew Wood is great at what he does, but he is never thinking about the curious people who may not be into sound recording/creation when he's throwing around all that industry lingo. People may not know what Avid, Pro Tools, TDM, etc. is.

So true, people tend to think that a service is provided by an equipment, and tend to devalue the person behind the tools, forgetting that they are useless if you don't know what to do with them. Also there is a certain level of experience that you can't acquire by yourself, and this is also something that the market will learn the hard way.

@PatrickBellFilm It could but you dont need it. This adapter is mainly for cameras without interchangeable lenses so you can attach them to it.

cuz without the addapter light only goes through your camcorders lens... with the addapter attached light goes through your 35mm lens, the screen in the addapter + your camcorders lense - ofc the image changes if you compare the 2 shots...

I don't agree with the comment. The contrast is different but not always better. Look at the whites and some are hiting about 100ire. The color cast changes and there is more detail int he shadows but that's maybe because of the change in image brightness.

i've used the arri matbox/follow focus on shoots before with the hd sony cams; worth the purchase if you can afford it

Silicon Image 2K. Small cameras are trendy nowadays.

Autofocus is for amateurs. You shouldn't rely on it, it can mess up your well desgined shot.

Sound is way too low in this video.
