Left of the Dial is an international showcase festival that takes place in mid-October in the center of Rotterdam. It offers a cross section of the most relevant alternative artists of the moment.
Rotown, the music venue on Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam, started organizing Left of the Dial in 2018. The summer festival season now extends well into September, which means that the number of bands that plan to do a club tour in October is enormous. Bigger than Rotown can fit in their own venue, or in one of the other venues they promote. In such a busy period it is difficult for young talent to compete against the better-known acts. To give all new bands the opportunity to present themselves to a larger audience, Rotown decided to set up Left of the Dial.

Zach being a Morrowind fan automatically elevates him in my eye. I am glad he brought it up. You will only feel what he said about it being alien and unmatched if you have played it and focused on the story and environment, but what remains truly unmatched is its broken spellscrafting system. Also, thanks for reminding me to fix my posture.
