That's the bitter irony of life...if you show you're depressed, people will be quick to judge you and think 'papansin ka lang' or 'umaarte'. Tama si Seph, at best, people would either brush your depression aside, downplay it or feign sympathy. So to avoid being judged or sticking out like a sore thumb, you will try to hide your pains and struggles in hopes of fitting in. Unfortunately, the better you conceal this affliction the more dismissive and uncaring people tend to be. The more you appear to be 'normal,' the less support you get from people you need the most. Even BURN OUT is now recognized as a legitimate medical condition by the WHO and yet we still don't really understand this 'cancer' of the mind called depression.

Meron akong kakilala na nagpakamatay din many years ago. Pinaka naaalala ko na sinabi nya sa akin eh mga tao daw they never mean what they say. They say they'll be there for you but those are empty words lang. Parang yun sinasabi ni Joseph Ubalde dito. Totoo naman yun mahirap Kaya mabuhay sa earth. Wala ka talaga maaasahan kundi sarili mo, people will always disappoint us one way or another.

People are easy to judge because they dont know what really is depression until you also suffer this. Family is the main foundation of oue emotional intelligence if there's no one there to help you its not easily but trust God and surrender all your problems to HIM.RIP Seph. To all the parents out there love your children and dont let them suffer traumatic events emotional and physical abuse during their childhood so they can have strong sense of self when they grow up and to avoid things like this. Im a psychology major and this is sooo true.Family is very strong foundation of EQ and if your family is not there for you.Trust GOD seek help from church or SFC/CFC communities they will not judge you promised.

I find this very sad to watch. All he really wanted was an emphatic ear to hear his stories or someone who could just be there when his vulnerabilities set in. Rest in Peace.

last year i was depressed, x5 committing suicide... gusto ko nang tumalon sa 5th floor na apartment... apat na kunsencia ko na kuma kausap sa akin. sabi sa akin ng kunsencia no1: tuloy mo, pakita mo kung gaano kasakit, gaano ka na saktan at ano halaga nang buhay mo para sa isang taong ginago ka, naging aso ka na sunod sunuran sa kamalian nya... no2: baka magsisi ka sa gagawin mo dahil pag ginawa mo yan, tao ka lng na isang araw lng kaya kang kalimutan... no3: kilala mo sarili mo, pag ikaw ay inabuso ng isang nilalang, alam mo qng ano mangyayari qng sino man sila at damay damay na sila... no4: humiling ka na bigyan ka ng paramdam sa itaas... at duon mo malalaman qng ano gagawin mo... qng ano inumpisahan mo na pangarap nyo, tapusin mo at pakita mo na hnd ka sumuko q sa inumpisahan mo na pangarap na dapat kasama cia....

I feel this guy. I have the same feeling. I have no family support , they are all putting me down. Friends just come and go, brother ko ibang mga tao pinahahalagahan. My family is mainly caused of my depression, I separate from them and got married. But, when problems arised in my marriage suddenly this depression attacked, I always want to end my life, always thinking of death.

If only everyone knows that's God gives us in our hearts a space so that in anyway we find Him. And then as soon as you have Him in your heart and you know how much He Love's us then only then you can have peace and the joy in your heart. And you start to worship Him then your inner peace replaced. How can you be depressed?

I'm battling depression for more 2 years now since I had a stroke attack and having difficulty recovering from it, i was cheated by my x wife and after that I was cheated also by girlfriend! It is really hard/ struggle to survive each day... Tama ka sir!! Kapag kakausapin m isang tao na Alam m na dumadaan sa depression Hindi sapat palaging sasabihin pagsubok lang yan..magdasal k LNG mawawala din yan.. Panu m masasabi yun?! E Hindi m naman Alam kung ano o kung gaano kahirap ang pinagdadaanan nung tao... Tapos sasabihan m pa na NASA utak m LNG yan lungkot/ depression na yan.. Kasi kapag ganun maririnig ng taong my depression imbis magsalita o kausapin ka nyan e tatahimik na LNG yan kahit sobrang nasasaktan na cya

I do not know exactly how people become depressed. But..There are a lot of people struggling to be alive. Young children battling cancer.. people in war zones.. in depressed areas...all hanging on for dear life..choosing to live one day at a time. But..despite all bad things.. continuing to live.. perhaps with hope.. hope that things will be better. And it will. This borrowed life is much too precious to give up. Suicide is never the answer. God is always faithful. Trust Him.

Tingin ko un pagiging gay nya tlga ang nagtrigger na magpakamatay n lng kasi alam nyang hindi sya matatanggap ng tatay nya at magiging kahihiyan sya sa pamilya nila pag umamin sya kasi sabi nga nya masyadong relehiyoso ang pamilya nya.kailangan lagi syang perfect tingnan lalo nasa tv sya.napalaya na nya ang sarili nya sa video kya lng ayaw nya na itong mapanuod kasi hindi nya pa dn kayang magpakatotoo.ngayon patay na sya kahit ano pa sabihin ng mga tao tungkol sa kanya hindi na nya maririneg pa kasi tapos na, end na,tinuldukan na nya ang buhay nya.

Sa panunuod ko sa video ni seph pati ako na stress.dami nya problema. pano nya kaya pinatay ang sarili nya. Kasi on the spot daw pagkamatay nya eh.

Ako nag uunahan yung problema pumasok sa isip ko Nagpray ako ,sya lng yun mkkatulong sa akin ,merun pa nman akong problema sa araw-araw.nag decide ako mgpakamstay na ,ggawin ko yun madaling araw pra pag gising ,wala nko.cguro 4 times kna pinagplanuhan yan ,pero dko magawa -gawa ,cguro may takot ako sa diyos Sa lhat ng problemang dumdating sa akin ,c god yun gabay ko sa mga problems Sayang ang buhay Napag isip-isip ko di pagpapakamatay ang sagot Sayang Naiiyak ako dhil naaalala ko yung ginawa kung planing pgkkamatay,ako yun taong mapag isa ,mailap ako sa mga kapatid ko ,ng eenjoy na lang ako mag fb ,magcomment ,mag bash ,before di ako nangbabash,mag join sa group chat ,mkipagkulitan ,mkipag away sa mga ka members ,panoorin ko c vice pagpapatawa ,para mawala ang problema ko Dyan c god na gagabay sau Sayang sinayang mulang buhay mo Dyan lang c god sa atin

I did not take any medication. I accepted this challenge and would commit to fight against it.

I was mid way of watching this vlog and immediately clicked off the video because i am afraid of relapsing hahaha. I was or am sad myself, i dont want to call myself depressed because never have i been professionally checked about my mental health. But man, hearing his story makes, makes me realize how alone i am. I was never open about this and only speak of my situation online anonymously, because i dont want to share this to my friends or family because i feel like they dont really care. I have tried to end it all one time and fortunately i survived it. Everyday felt like nothing for me. I really want to be happy like genuinely feel happy. And when i do, it's just like a temporary bliss. To deal with a person whos experiencing or dealing depression, dont speak toxic positivity. Speak genuinely. Whats more depressing is when a friend doesnt try to understand you. i know when someone really cares for me, and knowing what they said is true and their concern is honest and genuine makes me feel wanted. Check on your friends. If you really care, show them how much they worth to you.

Guys if anyone knows any support group for people with depression, don't hesitate to comment here, we can help our brothers and sisters by giving them the right people who can understand them and help them on their situation...
