I’m like three years too late so I’m not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet but I really like how when they’re singing “isn’t it nice to know that Good Will conquer evil” There are green stars dancing around and are in all the other people’s eyes basically showing their true “colors” And also I love how while Glinda is pretty much like yeah her mom cheated and she was shunned from birth by her father and saying it couldn’t be easy to live that life everyone else singing continues to just say no one mourns the wicked while also being inherently wicked in their own actions

I don’t know why but this animation style doesn’t quite suit the song

I didnt wana cry today but i cryed as much as when i saw the play Wicked has sucha powerful lesson and good story Yknow people are saying the movie is better than the play but in my heart the play will alaays be better and plus they cant do as much on the stage as in a movie but the movie will never have the best part of the play(the defying gravity scene) and the movie wont hage the same experience as the play

I wonder if Glinda somewhere in her heart, thinks Elphaba might be alive. After all, the melting in water thing was only ever a rumor made up to hurt Elphaba. But she mourns all the same, because either her best friend is dead or she's vanished and can't possibly come back. And everyone around Glinda is celebrating. Also! The way Dorothy is whisked away silently and nobody seems to take notice.. idk it feels really sad somehow
