Good morning,Dr.P. Baird, your pot matches your top.You can’t eat bun-bun in a plate I had an Headmaster who did not encourage us to eat and drink water, when we had our Staff social. All flesh is not the same.
He just lost out. But what were you supposed to consume at the social?
After eating then you can drink water or beverage. @@WahDihStorySeh
Think out of the box. Love your perspective, Pauline :)
Thank you
You are truly amazing❤
Thanks Fazia
Some African traditions recommended that persons should not eat from out of a pot it brings about lack and poverty

Wow! Thanks for stopping by. I did not know the algorithms were picking up my channel. It's nice to know. It's my pleasure to bring the stories to entertain and educate. Have a look around. And bring more people! Thanks
What a lovely story. ❤I attended St. Barnabas Primary School on Regent Street from around ‘76-‘82 and has a trainee teacher from CPCE by the name of Allison Hall, I believe she was from Bee Hive dam, not sure where that is located. She gifted me a story book at age 8-9 years old as good bye present when her stint was over. She wished me a successful life. And I would love to meet her one day again. All of you teachers molded us to who we are today. Thank you thank you thank you. You are all angels.
Peace be with you, keep up the good work, ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤from Guyanese living in New York(Soesdyke)
Thank you for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
I enjoyed this trip down memory lane. I read those stories in high school, too. ❤
Have you ever came across the book festival of Guyanese' words
Yes, I am familiar with it. Thanks for writing.
Peace be with you, keep up the good work,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤from Guyanese living in New York.
Love the guyanese lingo, love your insight into the culture. Note Bhougie refers to sister in law, not daughter in law, but your sentiment is spot on. And btw Guyanese people really can cook, says my Indian husband 😆
Thanks very much for the information. I am learning a lot.
Good night dear lovely I’m enjoying your videos love God bless ♥️🥰
Looking forward to these warm, wonderful strolls down memory lane. Thank you for the work you put it.

Our seven year old grandson who lives in the USA listened to your story-Anancy and the Mangoes. He recapped the story in his own words. I was very impressed with his narration. Congratulations on the wonderful job you’re doing.
Wow! Sis, V, he is developing his taste for the culture. I hope he gets the embedded sayings. I add them intentionally so that they get used and not forgotten. Thanks much. Tell the young man that I’m proud of him.
Can this get any g@yer

I think the cast system still exist in places like Trinidad, to some extent, within some " communities". Not as prevalent as it used to be though.
You are so hilarious! You go gurl😂😂
Yes, how could we forget the ad on our transit-or radios during childhood. I am trying to perfect the Shanta’s thin dhal puri. Keep up the great sharing. Proud of you :) Blessings.

Got to do the research. And I'll probably reach out to you. Waan Waan duttie build dam. Thanks for your patience.

Very nice 👍🏽
Your video is enlightening. I subscribed immediately.
Thank you so much!
Hello my dear. Once again it is a pleasure listening to your podcast which I enjoyed very much and brought back lots of memories. You got that right yes Guyanese gyal is the best that’s why my husband went back to marry me 😂 Also so I never made dhal puri on my own before I got married. I always thought it was too hard but watched my mom made it. I learned on my own after marriage and it wasn’t the greatest but a lots of practice I got better. I often buy from the West Indian restaurant here in NY to save time. Keep up the excellent job bringing back memories 👍❤️
Awesome. Your husband lucked out! Bravo....
Amazing explanation, the old women always say,me go gay you this bangle when you marry, also,me go prappa dance when you marry,
That's so true.
Very well i love what you are saying especially about Guyanese girls, we can cook, wash and clean, God bless you 🙏
Brings back beautiful memories of long gone years. That advertisement used to be on the radio in my childhood days and I’m now sixty one. You are very entertaining Dr Baird.
I feel the raw channa when it spills it rolls and hard to collect,so is the life of the girl who finds herself in that situation.Nothing new under the Sun,when it comes to Behavioral patterns.Long time or Nowadays.
You are truly a breath of fresh air. Amazing Guyanese spread all around the world. Very reminiscent of our childhood and you portray it very well.. Keep that spirit alive . You are a sweetheart. JS Toronto Canada
Thank you James. We have one life to live --- might as well make it a happy one, right?. Blessings
Dr.Baird, you go make it good in advertising products.Good reflection on our way of life and doing things.Good presentation 👍Buxton gal.❤
