I have a 2001 Nissan maxima likely the same transmission(RE4F04B) and sensor. you just need to jack up the car and remove under plastic to get to it. in maxima. I don';t have any codes yet, its not failing yet as the only symptom is that occasionally will not start but if that happens move it out of P to N and back to P and then it starts. or start it in N . in 2024 dealer part (319183AX01) is now like $130, aftermarket $31 (WVE 1S5427). Its been this way for 4+ years.

Hello, did the miles on the the car carried over as original or the unit you replaced from?

I may be wrong, but didn't he just connect it to the original air inlet that goes under the tank. The filter goes to the oval shape to the front of the original housing. 🤔🤔

I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S with 330,000 miles (original engine) and I got a code P1706 which is a Manufacture Specific Code (Nissan). I verified (the code) by trying to start the car in reverse and drive. Sure enough. It started in reverse and drive, not good. Now to change the switch. The speed sensor is directly behind the Neutral Safety Switch/Back-up Light Switch. Thanks for the tip about removing the battery and tray. :) Nice video :)
