At this point, I won't even blame Kuro if they decided to operate more like Hoyo, jeez. Free and selectors of standard 5-stars. Free limited 5-star. 80 pity max. No 50-50 on weapon banner. Listen to feedback to the point of altering the writing, and people are still bitching. Wuwa is still a gacha game, so not that it's an epitome of monetization morality. But it's still actually free to play. You don't get everything you want in life for free.

People pretending they main every 4 star characters whenever situation like this happen every game imaginable. Even if youhu ends up being a meta(highly doubt it), we all know there will be S tier 5 star version of her sooner or later.

I bet you can get her also in Camellya banner but not boosted since she is a new 4 star, they might add her on the standard banners aswell

What team do we use for Shorekeeper and Xiangli? He takes up so much time there's hardly any time for SK intro

they put her in Jiyan banner because she has synergy with Mortefi + Jiyan team. She is the healer with rejuvenating set that buffs mortefi coordinated atks, and mortefi with monolit buffs jiyan. Both Jiyan and Mortefi S6 will do great dmg with this.

Who needs her? She is just waste of resources hahahah

I think this is good move for Kuro, they need money, they give us a lot of freebies so this kind of move by putting youhu on jiyan banner is acceptable, this is my personal opinion 🙏

Its not concerning, its just plain stupid. Even if she was on Shorekeeper banner, its not guaranteed that you would get her. As for the whales, they really dont care about all of it. Anyone complaining about it is just a spoiled brat with impulse control issues. No one is forced to pull on anything, each person is responsible for their own decisions. I mean they just GAVE FOR FREE one of the top dps characters in previous patch and you now complain about 4* character? Seriously? Kuro should have just slapped 5 star on her and made her 2nd part banner instead of announcing her as a 4 star. That way no one would complain.

You never pull all dupes on 4*s whatever the banner, folks may cry but they will still pull, words over actions, I see 0 issue with kuro actually wanting to earn .some money since they have been so generous, but people want everything for free and even if they get that they would ask.....I want more! Putting Youho in Jiyan banner while capitalism 101 which is bad for Shorekeeper pullers, is actually an okay move for them since it will incentive Jiyan wanters to be Jiyan pullers because they be getting two units assuming they can win 50/50 or guaranteed and even if they fail, Youhou being there is somewhat a compensation. So always vote with your wallet, Shorekeeper is very balance , you don't absolutely need her unless you really want her

I think I've read that Youhu will be permanently available in standard banner from 1.4 Edit: Yes it's in the official patch notes. "Starting from Version 1.4, 4-Star Resonator Youhu will be permanently available in Standard Weapon & Character Convene."

Why is the HP so low, I had 36k with CD 4cost and 42k with HP one, even if you use 2 er 3cost she should have more, BCS I'm using a er 3cost too AND a HP one

personally, if there wasn't youhu on the jiyan banner. I would never have gone to his banner. You can't blame them for wanting to make money doing this, I think. Especially since it's the most f2p gacha at the moment. The FOMO on this game is very minimal. The company need to earn money

What also sucks is that there is no Depths of Illusive Realm this patch and it will return in 1.4. So other than that short story section, you cant even try her out unless she becomes available in an event in the latter half of the patch.

I don't think f2p can complain much since they can still have a chance to get youhu without getting jiyan. After getting shorekeeper, just don't pull until jiyan banner to have a chance to get youhu by 50pull max. Lucky or unlucky, they get early of jiyan sequence is still good. They receive an early 5 star. Criticism is needed to point out kuro as a whole. They are good and bads. Doesn't mean they can't do anything wrong even if they have been giving alot for f2p. A company needs to survive, they have given a high expectation since launch. They give so much rewards. However, lets dive into their sales. Did they make enough to cover the cost and make new characters? Each character cost a lot of money to developed. Story line, design marketing etc. Roster of employees paid to create them. If they are unable to pay their employee and losing money, this company will sooner or later have to shut down bought over by the competitors. Good scenario is there are more investors. So when having investor in there is many issue. They want profits. So it doesn't matter much to these investor except for profits. They give money and expect money return plus interest. Some may even have a say of how the company should run having majority of votes to get profits back. They hold a share of the company and wouldn't want it to go bankrupt while their money is gone forever. Having understand a bit of business inside. How does this decision impact the player base. First is transition. Does the company change direction towards 'profit' to meet up with the shareholders?. It is obvious that they have data of whales, low spenders and f2p. So what do whales love to do? Maxing new character. Since it is largely the revenue that is feeding the company. This is the outcome that is made. Putting youhu on shorekeeper banner is a dumb moves making them lose revenue since the whales would have max shorekeeper and youhu at the same time. This allows them to profit more since the whales will keep putting more money into both banner rather than only on shorekeeper. All the whales have max out character of each and every character up to date. This is a profit moves. The one that so called 'suffer' the most are the whales. I doubt f2p care much about this but the loud ones are actually the 'whales'. These loud ones are not the rich type of people but a normal working class that is draining their savings on this game. Their only source of joy outside of work. So yeah they can criticise kuro and it is valid. It is their experience and their criticism. They are prey upon by the company so there is nothing wrong for them to feel the way they feel. They invested in the game. The issue is will the company change it's tune since they have given high expectation. They may need to pull back to cater profit for investor. If they change direction, will they receive backlash? This is what i like to call testing the water. This moves as much as you want to defend is an unfair move to players specifically to the middle class whales. So we shouldn't defend blindly of some wrong doings. We can point it out and accept the criticism as a valid point and see what kuro would do next. However we can't just point out one wrong over 50 rights. Give kuro credits where credits is due. They are generous with most players and listen to our feedback and criticism.

Yea this is an issue… she looks fun but I’m not wasting rolls on a rerun banner. So Stupid. I have 40 rolls left and they’re not going to a rerun trying to get a 4 star when the other 4 stars have an equal rate Imagine using premium rolls on a 4 star

As a light spender, I see this as more of an annoyance than something to get worked up about. Hoyo still does similar things (putting less desired 4 stars on banners for popular 5 stars, and better 4 stars on banners where they don’t expect 5 star to pull in big numbers). Maybe a free copy as an event reward would have been nice, but they also just gifted everyone a free limited 5 star so I understand why they didn’t. To me, it’s no different than having to decide between something like pulling for dupes of a 5 star character I like vs pulling on a concurrently running banner for a 5 star I don’t have.

getting a youhu isnt garanteed, pulling for a 4 star is bad either ways. they ll get her next patch from all banners, even if she was on shorekeepers banner there is no garantee you ll get her, let me bring some examples from genshin introducing characters on rerun banners: genshin 1.4 : rosaria genshin 2.2: thoma genshin 2.8: heizu genshin 3.0: dori genshin 3.2: leila genshin 3.5: mika genshin 3.7: kirara genshin 4.0: freminette genshin 4.3: chevreuse im bringing these examples (and i could bring other games too) just to proove it is not a new thing in gasha and i ve heard nobody ever complain about it before...

They're probably gonna give her out for free on the next banner, hopefully probably not though

Shorekeeper suport/healer ✔ Youhu suport/healer✔ If you are going to shoot for Shorekeeper you will have good support If you plan to shoot for Jiyan and you only have enough for him, you will hopefully have a 4* support I think it is very well balanced. both are suports, so if Youhu were on the banner with Shorekeeper it would be redundant. Remember, in the end you are going to get it because it is a 4*, it is not really a problem. My humble opinion

I already have Jiyan and his weapon… He is great. Getting him again would be a win 😅 No one is being forced to do anything….Just wait and you will get the 4 star at some point. Maybe just not now.😂

Me i dont have jiyan but i rather save for other characters to come, not gonna waste asterites on a 4 star character.
