Meaning these vehicles do not have a parking lock in their transmission. So the driver will either have to use the D or R position of the gear stick while parking"

Awe bro, apologies for the delay in response. The previous Gen Swift has an AMT gearbox which has many complaints, it's very loud on the road and gear changes takes forever. The 2024 new Swift are paired with a CVT gearbox which is a lot more refined and I will recommend this one if you are looking for auto.

Hola, apologies for the delay in response. It all depends on you brother. The DSG however has sightly more power 85kw while the manual transmission produces 70kw. But if you going to keep the car for a very long time then the manual might be cheaper to maintain when compared to DSG.

The engines are actually the same, they're all powered by a 61kw and 114Nm. But the Swift has a better 0-100 time of 12.0sec and a top speed of 170km/h while the i10 takes 12.3sec with a top speed of 167km/h

It's all about Preference, my brother. The interior of the Baleno GL is a turnoff for me, it's very basic, and that infotainment screen is awful, but pros is you're getting a bigger car, with more space than the Swift plus a more punchy engine 77kw. The Swift GLX on the other side it's more fun to drive, light on fuel, will be cheaper on insurance too but biggest downside is boot space, you won't be moving houses with that boot space, but if you hardly do long trips will full luggages then it's a perfect choice. Compare the two, preferably test drive both and see which one would suit your budget most🤝

True💯 especially on power. That 1.2 engine is built for short drives and doesn't like going up halls. But in town, the power is adequate enough for robot to robot races

True💯 most of the optional extras should've been added as standard. I would add the same options as you did. It's very sad that VW Polo has become a victim of their own success, those IQ Lights are beautiful and makes the car standout but yhoo in town they will steal them, already it's a trend in Hatfield, Pretoria💔 I will cover a video on this soon. Also you're correct with the keyless, hence I always prefer the classic remote lock and check all if all the doors are locked. If anything looks suspicious GO, VAYA fast in a hurry.

Car prices in SA are a scam shame. This days you hardly get anything under R300k brand new. If you want this nice features you'll go well over R300k
