Violet no es la mejor de las madres, pero para la época era mejor que muchas y además ella perdió una parte de sí misma cuando vio morir a su esposo, entonces se lo perdono. Incluso así, ella conoce a sus hijos e hijas y pudo con el título de Vizcondesa viuda (lo cual es entendible teniendo en cuenta que en su juventud de "Queen Charlotte" ella fue educada casi como la heredera de su padre), lo cual es admirable.

Violet is arguably one of my favourite characters. Mama B may not be perfect, but she knows her babies quite well. And Ruth's eyes just bring so much life to Violet's character.

As much as I like Season 3, I did have a hangup of a significant change from the books. In the TV series, there's a "three strikes" rule in the ton marriage market, justifying the desperation of both Penelope and Cressida. At least in the books, Penelope feared spinsterhood after being rejected for a decade.

I went from hating Portia to loving her this season. She may not be the best mother, but she’s always loved her daughters and has only tried her best to ensure their survival. She the most realistic mother you can ever find in this time period.

Say what you will but Lady Featherington lucked out having her daughters marry kind men who love them dearly and have no drama (minus Colin and Pen but he’s a Bridgerton, they think they require drama for romance)

I collapsed in laughter when she broke the awkward silence after Penelope’s monologue with “THE BUGS!!” 🤣 both sisters are underrated and I hope we get to seem them back again for seasons 4 & 5 🫶

On one hand, S1 Anthony would never. With any of this. On the other... He is SO much more fun this way! And I'm beyond certain that the happiness in his marriage to Kate is entirely to thank for the character change. I interpret it as him no longer feeling so alone in his role, duties, and life in general so he feels he can relax.
