You can have multiple faces and keyframe them appearing, something like this: th-cam.com/video/gQwo3FWs58g/w-d-xo.html

@@ParkoAnimation Almost like MecaFace. I meant specifically as in your way of doing it. There’s classic faces of LEGO Minifigures I wanna animated more naturally as seen with Emmet & Benny from The LEGO Movie that looks more naturally.

I haven't really delved into it as much personally. If you do have MecaFace, a good way to learn is remake a character's facial animation from one of the movies. The technique follows similar facial phonetics as regular animation (www.reddit.com/r/stopmotion/comments/w288xp/they_arent_very_good_but_i_made_some_mouth_frames/)

Did you plug the Shader material into the Output node set to all? I personally haven't used EEVEE for rendering, and am not entirely sure if it will work in this case.

Interesting. If you can, I'd enable cycles for a low sample test render to see if the node/render pass setup is correct and you can rule that out.

For the instance of lightsabers, the motion blur can definitely add to the effect, but it can also be turned off for all other objects (where you can use smears instead).

It definitely depends on what you're going for, especially if it's a played with figure where scratches/dirt/etc would be necessary. Mess around with the settings and see what works best.
