Wonderful message! God bless and Merry Christmas!
I have been a full time potter for 60 years Jeremiah 18 The Potter and the Clay 1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: 2 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. 5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel! The Lord sent Jeremiah to the house of the potter to visually show to Jeremiah something by which God could speak to him. When Jeremiah comes in the potters house, the potter has just put a fresh lump of clay on the wheel. This potter was an experienced potter not a just beginning potter. Most likely he was going to make a large vessel for water. The potter started to pull up the clay higher and higher while the wheel is spinning around. What Jeremiah sees is very unique and unusual for a trained potter. The clay is marred in [under] the hand of the potter. What did Jeremiah see. Most times if this happens there is a little sharp stone or lump [SIN] in the clay, the most likely thing that could happen. While the potter pulls the clay on the turning wheel it rips trough the clay. The clay now flies of the wheel in a circle on the floor because of the fast turning of the wheel. There is no way that the clay would have remained on the wheel. The potter goes down on his knees and gathers the clay from the floor; makes it in a new lump. He starts working on the wheel again and makes a beautiful vessel better than the first. Then God says to Jeremiah: “ Can I not do what the Potter just did. God said: “CAN I” not can the clay. WAS MARRED IN THE HAND OF THE POTTER; while he was working it; either it FELL, as the Septuagint version renders it, out of his hands, or from the beam on which it was laid; [Round plate on top of the wheel] It FELL and was Ruined The Lord speaks about restoration and reviving that which was lost like the vessel on the wheel. Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost Jeremiah 18:15 “Because My people have forgotten Me, They have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, From the ancient paths. What the potter did in this old testament Parable is what our Lord Jesus did to restore us and make us a Vessel to Honour. He came down from His Heavenly Glory and went down to the ground. That those who belief in Him will be restored from a disfigures fallen vessel into a New vessel for honour. He only can do that. It is impossible that the CLAY restores itself. Romans 9:21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honour and another for dishonour?
Oh my goodness, please, do not dabble with AI technology. Bad, bad things to come with it. We will see much evil with it in the near future. God bless you!
Beautiful message, lovely music!
Thank you, Pastor. God bless you.

Beautiful!
It makes me so sad when smart people say "no" to God. Very sad.
No to Thor or any god
The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. It’s more puzzling when intelligent people DO choose to believe in a false sky daddy

@@thatguywhowritescommentary7399 Yikes, do yourself a favor and figure out what a “straw man argument” actually is, because that was a missed mark. Did yourself no favors.

A very appropriate clip considering the times in which we are currently living. Many topics of conversation here. God bless you.
What a beautiful service! Thank you so much for posting it. Merry Christmas!
Nice to see you again, Pastor. And, thank you for this video. God bless you!
Perhaps it was pride, as well, that influenced Herod's decision to go ahead and order the beheading of John the Baptist. Herod did not want to lose face in front of his guests. I would say that's a form of pride. Thanks for this devotion, Pastor. It saddens me that this will be the last one posted. God bless you and keep you.
Thank you for this extremely important and timely message, Pastor. So many of our brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world are being persecuted for their faith. I cannot help but think that we, too, should prepare ourselves, for division is increasing everywhere. I read these words the other day and I think it may be fitting to mention them here: "If I die, I'll be with Jesus. If I live, He'll be with me. So if I live or if I die, I am the Lord's." I find great comfort in those words. May the peace that surpasses all understanding be with us all in these perilous times. God's blessings to you, Pastor, and I pray you will quickly have funds to repair the roof of your church.
Thank you, Pastor, for this devotion . . . this teaching. I've learned much since I found your TH-cam channel. God bless you!
You're welcome DRUMMER. Peace to you in Christ Jesus <><
Thank you for this wonderful teaching. It is a good reminder of things we so often and so easily forget. I have been truly blessed through this devotion! May God bless you and watch over you throughout the coming week, Pastor.
Thanks so much for this Sunday devotion. Something to think upon, for sure. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you.
On you as well, you're very welcome, God bless you <><
Service of the Matins? This I do not understand. I've never heard a service or music such as this, and very short. Perhaps this is for a special occasion? Please, forgive me as I do not understand. I'm sure it was very well done and I thank you for posting this. May the Lord bless you!
Oh, what a wonderful service! What a wonderful message today, Pastor! Thank you very much. It saddens me to read here, however, that you will no longer be airing your Sunday services. Does that apply to TH-cam as well? Please, pass along my appreciation to the singer at the end of this video, Ms. Jennifer Jade Kerr, for the singing of "How Great Thou Art." It is a song especially dear to me, as it brings back memories of my Grandmother baking cookies and humming and sometimes singing this song. Special memories. Warm and lovely memories! My Grandmother is home with Jesus now for many years, but I can hear her singing this song as though it was just yesterday. I sang along with Ms. Jennifer as she sang and played and, as always when I sing this song, the tears flowed down my cheeks, for I cannot stop them. It happens every time. The memories of my Grandmother and the words of the song that speak so powerfully to my soul bring forth tears always. My Grandmother loved as Jesus loves. She loved everyone. Never a bad word about anyone. Always forgave. Never judged. And to know in my heart and to truly, truly understand that Jesus willingly went to the cross and died on the cross for my sins . . . our sins . . . such a painful, terrible way to die, as God momentarily turned away from His Son . . . the loneliness and pain Jesus must have felt . . . oh, I cannot begin to imagine. And this song makes me feel that all so deeply inside that I just know that God knows how much I love Jesus for what he did for me on the cross and what He continues to do for me every single day. I love Him for what He did, and does, and because He is my Lord and Savior. And to think . . . one day I (we) will see Him face to face!! Oh, what a day that will be!! Joy of all joys!! I doubt I'll be able to speak, but rather, only fall at His feet. Pastor, I will miss being able to watch your Sunday services. God bless you and keep you.
It is well with my soul! Amen. Thank you for this encouraging message, Pastor. Blessings to you!
I'm glad you appreciated it, thank you!

My heart is sad to hear that you will be winding down your online services. However, I understand. Due to distance, I am not be able to attend in person. I thank you for being here for the length of time you have, as I've enjoyed attending online. God bless you and keep you, Pastor.

My Great-Grandparents spoke only this German and nothing else. My Grandparents spoke this German and also English. My Mother spoke only English and a little of this German. And sadly, I speak only English and understand but a few words of this German. I can remember my Grandmother and Grandfather speaking to each other in this German . . . and it brings back memories . . . happy memories. In a way I cannot explain, it was comforting to me. My Grandfather used to rock me when I was very small and sing to me two German songs. He would rock me until I fell asleep. I still remember the words and melody to those two songs. Many happy memories and only one regret . . . I should have learned to speak this German as well. Upon hearing it in this service, it makes me realize it is a part of who I am. Now, I wonder, can I find this missing piece? Please, forgive my ramblings, Pastor. I just don't think too many other people would understand, so I say these things here. It seems as though I found your German Service on the day it is to be the last for the summer. Will you be resuming online German Service in September? And again, please, forgive my ramblings. God bless you!
Hello Drummer. Thanks for sharing this piece of your life story. I can relate to that, as my father was raised in German too, this way, I've got some German in my childhood which stuck with me as I grew up; not enough to speak it though. Then, as for the missing piece like you said, I realized since I had sort of a bilingual rearing I decided to start to study German to regain some of what I lost and to increase it. I've been using online videos like "Easy German" and others, which have proven very helpful, it might be something you'd like to try.
As for the German Services, we plan to resume them in September, this time in-person only, at our Church. We might consider to live stream it, if there would be people willing to follow it along. : )
@@lucasalbrecht I would be interested in following the stream.
@@lucasalbrecht Thank you for the suggestion. I will try.

Hello Pastor Lucas. At first, I wasn't sure where you were going with your message, but then it all made sense to me in the end. This was a wonderful message! Thank you. Too bad the sound was lost at the 12 minute: 35 second mark. God bless!
Thank you Drummer, I'm glad you liked it! : ) During the second song, I muted my mic and forgot to bring it on again when I came back, sorry about that!

Pastor, may I ask you a question? I've heard much about the Rapture of the Church and have come to understand that many believe the Church of Christ will be raptured before God's wrath is unleashed upon the earth, while many others believe the Church of Christ won't be raptured until after the Tribulation period. I am a little confused with the differing of opinions. I was wondering where you stand on this issue? God's blessings to you!
