Бионикл крут😁👍
That intro music takes me back.
I think Le-metru got the worst of it, the staff of erasing is fucked
Some outstanding operators or a Vtuber who is streaming in the middle of battlefield ? The same with you, Mr.Patriot
2:44 The way he moves to the beat
yah
Fifty seconds in, and the vibes were already exquisite. Sure, we've all seen the footage and heard the music before, but you edited it all together in such a way that perfectly fit the beats and conveyed the plot of the first two and a half years. Bravo. If ever I want to demonstrate to someone the FEEL of Bionicle in its golden age, I'll be showing them this video.
If I’m gonna be honest, I wish I kept the clips at the original frame rate of the flash animations, but I’m still overall happy with the output Thank you for the kind words!
This is amazing
Most beautiful fever dream I've ever had.
Sucks, we still know that Vahki is corrupt.
in retrospect, the vahki being obliterated by overgrown bugs is very funny
This is the music video I was hoping I'd find
🐟
Whenever I hear the song, I’d like to waive my hands up and down like the toa Mata and toa nuva do
This theme is good, but I personally think tracks that lean into the more tribal/medieval vibes of Bionicle really drive home the juxtaposition the line represented in its early years.
I’m probably gonna be speaking outta my ass here, but I can see where you’re coming from and actually kinda agree, just not completely. Obviously the general music vibe of Bionicle from 2001-2003 is gonna be tribal themed given the setting, but I personally loved it when it had those moments when electronic instruments/technoesque(?) music kicked in, like Gali vs the Tarakava and Pohatu vs the Nui-Jaga; both mixed traditional instruments with purely electronic ones and seared themselves into my memory (though I’d argue that most tracks from MNOG 1/2 had that effect). Most scenes in MNOG that used Killing Machines didn’t include the tribal chanting apart from when the Toa face down Makuta at the end of MNOG, but because of the scenes it features in (Kopaka vs the Muaka, Onua vs Lewa, the Toa vs Makuta, and even the Vahki Online Animations which were also animated by Templar), I’ve personally STRONGLY associated Killing Machines with the peak of Bionicle; cool tribal robot guys teaming up to save the day. Contrast with the orchestral tracks from the Bionicle movies, which aren’t bad by any measure of the imagination, but I personally never really cared for them because I never really felt that the biomechanical nature of the setting really came through (please bear in mind I also haven’t listened to the score for the movies in quite a while, so I might be misremembering things). Same thing for 2005-2009 where rock took over, though I loved Gravity Hurts; I don’t want to discount the efforts of Cryoshell in any way.
idk tl;dr me like tribal music too because contrasting with characters, me like techno music too, me not really care for the other stuff except the piraka rap which is absolutely peak
I’ve always felt Ramin Djawadi would have made a killer Bionicle score. Considering he did Game of Thrones, Iron Man, and Pacific Rim, I feel like he could blend the two tones really well.
I thought there was 6 Tahus when I looked at the thumbnail because they all were looking red. Hmmm would Teridax stand a chance if there was an army of Tahus?
How many you talking?
Tamori did count as a Tahu despite he is a Toa of Light..Plus Jaller.
Wish I could've been there when it all started.
I'm truly sorry you missed it... I wish I had a time machine to let you go back and experience it.
i forgot how fucking cool the vahki were
Bonkle moment
Amazing, the nostalgia is still so strong
fuck man i've had this song stuck in my head for twenty years, so glad to hear it again. Still sad that i never finished that 2nd bionicle game from the website, the one that starts in this video about 3:05 . Dang thing required you to make like, five bits of rigging or something right at the start of the game, which required a lot of farming for resources just to get out of the starting village. and to my knowledge there was very little direction saying to do that. my young self got confused and annoyed and just stopped.
Best part is, you probably were playing on a broken version. Lego took to down and then reuploaded it, but they lost files in-between and the game was LITERALLY unbeatable.
@@FREECIVVIE oof, that's rough
Yea, they were trying to emulate MMOs, which were exploding in popularity at the time with RuneScape and WoW hitting their peaks, and it really didn't work in the context of a single player flash game.
I definitely remember having trouble getting around, I think I sequence broke at some point and then I got stuck on the other side of the Ta-Koro bridge, completely unable to zone to other areas. Frustrating, but the Fusa Path music playing somehow made it more bearable
SUЯЯЕИDЕЯ ОЯ ЯUИ
Poor beast rider :c
don't deny this video just emanates what was like to be a bionicle fan when it first started
100%. I was there in 2001 when the whole thing kicked off and this brought back ALL of those old feelings of giddy excitement, wonder and curiosity.
i won't.
No one told Bionicle better than Templar.
Still gets me how Varis, a man clad in armour had a gun hidden somewhere rather than a blade of sorts.
My soul just shivered
This for some reason hit the hardest for me when Rean was trying to escape the enemy flagship. Flexed on all the antagonists by gaining control of the Ogre. One of the most bada$$ moments in the 2nd game.
For sure that is one of the best moments of the game for me imo the game could've been alot better if the entirety of Act 2 wasn't such a chore fest but music always amazing
oh
oh
This is not the Salt Factory video you are looking for
Clearly not, because I’m leaving just as fucking confused as when i got here.
I’d like to think it fills its own little niche
Well, he is tame. Can't argue with that
I can't find the Salt Factory video T_T
tame bomaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well, this definitely went over my head when it came out. I think I was about… Nine? I definitely played the crap out of those Toa Metru though.
Boma deez nuts
I want a Divine Knight...
Who knows? You might get one in ToCS IV
@@marikobellrecode2288 it keeps breaking though >:(
You’ll get the Sept-Terrion of Wind. Good enough.
Divine knight gives you protagonist power and haremm squad
Solus is satisfied with his handiwork....paltry in comparison to allag.... Could be referring to the Empire or what he's been upto in the first with Vauthry/Innocence
Love it when actions sync up to the beat. Great vid!
Thank you! I definitely made a conscious effort to sync up audio and visuals when I could, but I could definitely stand to improve in some areas since I'm still a relative novice when it comes to video editing.
@@Rovan84127 The Nui Jaga tail part at 00:51 is my favorite. For sure, with more editing practice I think your stuff will really shine. Just subbed, looking forward to seeing what you've got in store!
@@WajeehKhan No promises :v But I'll see if I can't whip some more up later down the road.

1:09 gives me chills

THOUGHTS CAN BE DANGEROUS
A busy matoran is a happy matoran
I've been searching for a mix like this of high quality for a while, this deserves more attention
honestly I feel like I could've done a lot better, this was literally just whipped up in an afternoon if I could've replaced the english text with the matoran language, that alone would've made me happier, but I'm extremely unfamiliar with flash and I wasn't getting any satisfactory results knowing that at least some people appreciate this is heartwarming though, thanks for the comment!
*ACKNOWLEDGED*
KOI, HAI NO KISHIN, VARIMAAAARU
5:35 that line without context is hilarious if someone doesn’t read it
Wait... is that AFTER his death in Shadowbringers ?
No
Anyone knows the name of that song playing in the background? Tryed to find it, but can't
is that the real zenos or the fake ascian zenos talking to varis at the beginnign? thx . also what does "when I took this face" mean? @1:25
Spoilers!! Fake Ascian Zenos. Real Zenos died and an ascian named Elidibus took his body to continue a gesture to make Zenos seem like he was still alive. And by 'take this face': Ascians can take over corpses of a dead person as not to reveal themselves.
What I want to know is, who is the ascian posing as Solus? I figured it is Emmit Selch as we have not seen him but we do know he another ascian out there
"You do not make judgments - You administer them". Damn I wanted to punch him in the face on Varis behalf lol
As soon as I heard him say grandson my mouth dropped
