honestly i was planning on pulling for her, mostly because i love characters with traversal mechanics (that’s one of the reasons why i’m a wanderer main), but her needing to be ran with other natlan characters is ridiculous and just not achievable for me. with every 5 star natlan character so far i’ve either not been interested in them or lost the 50/50 on kinich’s banner at 90 pity. so all i have are kachina and ororon, and they’re not really that good with her from what i’ve seen. in general, the natlan releases so far have made me feel weirdly defeated and demotivated. i’m just gonna try for baizhu again, i need him for my kaveh/nilou team because i hate using prototype amber nahida as my only compatible “healer”. so i hope i don’t lose the 50/50 for a third time on his banner 😭

Even years later: Building damage on Layla provides absolutely ZERO worth to any team. Her only value is in her shield and cryo application. Even if you had 70k hp, high cryo bonus and 2k atk: She brings so little to the team in terms of damage that you may as well just build her as a shield bot.

What set of artifacts is better for Citlali if I have Kokomi the main damage in the team?

A shielder with VV sounds just as broken as it is. And then she buffs and also has RECOVERING SHIELD.

I was waiting for Citlali for a long while, and I am heavily disappointed by Genshin on how they ruined her kit

I really wanted her, until I found out she was a main dps. The majority of Natlan characters are Main dps characters. Except for Xilonen, Citlali, and maybe Ororon. People can’t afford to get an entire team is specific characters just to support one. Why would I trade my already good, built characters, for the new Natlan ones who I would only be getting for Mavuika? I’m also just not willing to take Neuvillette off my team. I was hoping Mavuika would be a good support or off-field pyro applicator, but I’m just not going to pull an entirely new team just for her.

She seems fun to play as a dps! And I’ll also most likely use her as a shielder and support in my Arlecchino team 🥳

She is meh. Shorter shield duration than her skill cooldown is a deal breaker for me. It might look good on Excel sheet for some TC, but it will be so awkward in the real situation. I will use her as a VV + TTDS bot for Mavuika until her companionship exp is full, then bench her until the end of time.

Mavuika's abilities are so lacking and have a bunch of missed opportunities. Considering how early it still is for Natlan patches, I can only suspect she'll get better with the release of more playable Natlanese characters. I'm hoping Ifa will bring something to the table and replace Bennett 🙏

I would like to aim for her c2 if i can i will be pulling on second half anyway so if i get unlucky i will have the lantern rite selector to fall back on. I also want Gaming c0 even if he is better at high cons. Also a team you didnt mention for her is a wanderer team. I intend to try her on this team.

I find it so funny that Citlali's weapon is her best weapon. Now I won't feel bad if I get it without Citlali.

She is an upgrade for new players or players who don't have alot of characters specially defebsive util

She scales of atk, i have to use the eye of perception on herr, i'm running out of catalysts 😢

honestly i dont think her only value is in her shield. her skill has some absolutely insane multipliers, doubling at c1 (she hits 6 times at c1 + 6 times the 50% infused element) resulting in around 1600 ATK scaling multiplier and around 2500 elemental mastery scaling multiplier total. this increases to 1800 multiplier at level 13, and then when u get her c6 she can do double that skill + her burst resutling in around 6000 multiplier in just a few seconds. ill remind yall very well that hypercarries like wanderer fe do 4000 atk mulitplier total per rotation while chasca does around 6k total per rotation so this is absolutely crazy for a 4 star. persobally i see her very good as a sub dps in aggravate teams or in electro charged teams with TF

eventually i have get her c6r1 for my freeze team... for my c3r1 neuvillette, furina(plan to c3 her eventually), mualani c0 prototype amber and scroll set. for citlali i plan to c2r1 her and save primogems knowing it takes so long for cryo characters to rerun. i probably can save for a year to get her 4 last dupes. also going glided dream set

I have a feeling mavuika kazuha xilonen and shenhe would be an awesome melt team. Running shenhe with noblesse set for extra 20% attack and 15% elemental skill and burst dmg bonus. Also the off field cryo would be prettymuch permanent between kazuha and shenhe. good thing shenhe rerun coming in lantern rite

I've just C2R1'd Chasca, and while Mavuika's potential seems kind of unrivaled in Natlan teams, Citlali's so much more appealing despite her niche... and I love playing sub dpses on-field (she has the funniest basic attacks) I'll probably go C2 first and R1 if I have anything left (I want Childe, too). Don't judge me, please.)

Quick question should I prioritize getting my c2 Shenhe to c6 or getting citlali c2 instead and leave Shenhe as is?

Just be honest and tell us she is really bad for a 5 star and we'll regret pulling for her. She is bad at all but 2 categories even on your ranking and even in those she barely made it past the halfway rating of 3. How can you say that's a good pull? Neuvielette or Furina would probably rank 5 stars in like 3 of those categories each, now that's a good pull you can't regret. Citali feels like this jack of all trades, master of none character like Dehya, not as bad as her but same problem. Want shield and RES shred? Get Zhongli. Want buff and off field damage? Get Furina, Kazuha, or even Xilonen. Citali is inferior to all of them. She is not a good pull unless they add an EM scaling Dendro reaction for Cryo lol
