You did exactly what i did in leg 2. Damn poles!
Not the first time I've tried to move those poles, and most likely not the last time either 😅
Good work roy
@@holgerkurvits308 Thanks. It felt decent for a while in there 😁
That was an adventure!
Roy you taking part in the Rookie Cup reminds me of a certain Rookie F1 driver called Fernando Alonso taking part in the young drivers test :P
Well, did you see my driving? 😅
Best of luck Joakim!
Good luck everyone. Enjoy the race.
definitely using a Logitech g29 i can hear it lol..great stream mate
@@biggzygaming2115 There is no way of hiding the Logitech rattle 😂 Thanks for taking a look 🙂
Thank you for sharing this rally. I just started with RBR and your take onto the stages is really helpfull. Also nice to see your throttle/brake and steering inputs. Will join this championship as well for the sss rally. Being it my first championship on this game I hope to finish ;)
Glad I could help 🙂 If you need more help or get more insight and such I can recommend joining the RSF Discord, where the guys who knows all the ins and outs of the game hang out 🙂 And good luck with your rally!
@@rallyroymadness I joined the discord very helpfull people indeed. Started the rally yesterday but after loading the results from stage 4 my game crashed and it gave me a dnf. Can't even join for leg 2 :(
@JayTurboDeluxe Check the results page for the rally on the RSF website, then scroll down and click on "retired drivers" at the bottom of the list. Sometimes there will be a button named "continue with superrally" or something similar next to your name. Clicking that will allow you to continue the next leg 🙂
@@rallyroymadness You were right, there is a button continue with superrally thank you very much for the help!
Nice driving Roy. Shame the hub ended itself at the end but good spin for the fans!
In the end it did not do too much, I still managed to hold on to that 3rd position in class now that the rally has ended 😁
Hi, which pacenote pack do you use? Thanks
Hello there! I am using Jen Horsey (originally from Dirt 4) that I found in a big pack of different codrivers a few years ago. Leza Codriver Pack or something along those lines 🙂
@@rallyroymadness Thank you!
Where Is That Rally Located?
@@EricOates15 Ecuador, I think
stage 1 crash.... there had been a Left 1 before the left6 and right 1 What you hit and so gently, would never break a radiator in real life and therefor no chance of breaking a water pump either
I think I need to throw in a "caution" or two before that 1 left to warn me that it is coming. Really annoying to go out like that too, there were a lot of nice stages that I did not get to drive this round 😶
Mt Akina Was The Only Japanese Tarmac Stage
Nice. Which codriver mod do you have?
I am using Jen Horsey (Originally from Dirt 4). Was in a pack of 7-8 different codrivers called Lesa Codriver Pack or something in that direction 🙂
I survived the first leg in one piece 😂
@@fredscratchet1355 With the foggy stage at the end there that is well done regardless of pace 😁
Shame on what happened on Sleeping Warrior. This was for me in my time in RBR (6 months and my 3rd wheel using a wheel) the toughest rally I've done. Mentally it was very grueling. I was in the Rally3 and I had a surprising clean rally until on Mineshaft I crashed ending all the work done before. I can say that I enjoyed the rally except the end result. I enjoy watching these streams for the APRC (mainly because the Coosie is my favorite A8 car).
The safari rallys in RBR tend to be tough, some of the stages are really rough and rutted and can throw you way off the road in the blink of an eye. Sleeping Warrior is a different challenge, keeping an average of around 120 kph for 27 kilometers is a task in its own! Thanks for tuning in, the Escort is my favourite car of the A8-era too 🙂
Hi Roy, You had a great battle with Ole in the second race, Definetly need a new paint job on the rear of your car after that. Great to watch.
@@PaddyBreslin It was really fun, and equally hectic 😁 Keeping him behind is always difficult!
Dident realise the end of the first race was so close, 0.138 of a second for the first 3 cars.
Yeah, the off road excursions of the two in front of me almost made me steal an undeserved win 😆
That Volvo 😍
The sound of it too is really nice 😊
Great close racing Roy. Great result in the second race starting from the back.
@@PaddyBreslin It was really fun, these cars produce tight racing. Hope you had fun in it too, looked like you had a few battles along the way 🙂
@@rallyroymadness I was hoping to have a battle with you but you passed me before I even moved. Really enjoyed it and only passed Ole when he decided to mow the lawn.
Nice stream. The Ford Fiesta Rally3 is a fun car to drive on tarmac and fast gravel. As a controller player, it's fun and easy to drive. It's easy to get to 98% of the car but then the 2% can be found in setup and driving. Although the car lacks grunt on stages like Portugal and gravel superspecials (when trying use the throttle to maintain a slide). It's very fun to drive on tarmac aswell. I must ask however. What co driver mod are you using? I've never heard this one before and I'm curouis to try this one out.
@@HassanIbrahimRally57 The Fiesta is a nice car to drive, very predictable in everything I have pushed it through so far. Should make for a fun season 🙂 My codriver is Jen Horsey, originally from Dirt 4. I found a pack called "Lesa Codriver Pack" or something similar, which had 6 or 7 different codrivers in it, Jern is one of them 🙂
Lol love the escort in the thumbnail.. 👍🏻
Haha! It is from the only practice I had before I started the rally, so I should really know how things were going to go 😆
@@rallyroymadness Nice one mate 👍🏻
Your just a few places under gplaps
At what point? 😆 I should in reality be well ahead of him given the difference in our cars, but Jake is a fast guy, so he do good results regardless of the car!
You just keep on doing what you do brother. I wish I could watch this in 480p instead of 360p. But it's all good
More practice and preparations for the next one should (hopefully) make it a lot better :)
When is the highlight-package from R2 coming? Or won't you bother as I didn't blow my engine? Huh? HUH??! jk!
Nice proper blips on the downshifts. I suppose clutch is not needed for handbrake (seq only) but useful for revving up by dumping the clutch to get the car going and prevent stalling?
I do the blips (on pure reflex) on the downshifts to avoid stalling the engine, which is really easy to do in the heavy breaking zones. The handbrake on these older 4WDs often lock all 4 wheels because of how the diffs were configured, so I have increased the "punch" of the rear diff to get the car properly rotated, and that is more effective with a clutch kick 🙂
there are alwyays SRM Prep. rallies in the online rally, I will prioritize them, maybe will do also some rallies with the given stages, if we already know them.
And the stage list is also released well in advance, so there are all the oppurtunities in the world to practice. But life has a habit of getting in the way of such activities, with stuff like understaffing at work and vacation trips once summer hits properly. Next time, though. Next time. 😁
I agree, without practice it is very very hard to get through the stages with good pace. I will also practice for the next one, hope it will be gravel.
Literally went "noooo" at the same time!
I did finish the leg faster than you did, though! 🙈
Someone (you) told me it was 13 minutes! Not 11! :O I have been lied to!
I even told you that I had to edit more stuff out by replacing a clip before rendering it again 😆
@@rallyroymadness I thought you replaced it same for same!
I like the car closest to the camera on the thumby!
17 YEARS YO !?
Haha, yeah. Things have thankfully moved forward from then, both my driving and the computer power 😁
Sorry Roy missed the end but got Rf2 running. Gave Steam Admin privilages.
Great to hear! Ready for the fun, then 😁
@@rallyroymadness Are you ready for the rolling road block? 🤣
@@fredscratchet1355 Bring it on 😁
This was a hard rally and I struggled.
Yeah, the finnish roads penalize small errors heavily. But they also reward brave and diciplined drivers handsomely too!
Hi Roy. Good racing
I wouldn't call my own efforts good this evening, but it was fun nonetheless 🙂
im on the fence with RBR. I just changed my rig from an open wheel setup to a rally setup. Going hard on Dirt and WRC and looking for something more like iracing for rally and heard RBR is about as close as you can get. I just dont know if i can handle the graphics. It worth it even looking as dated as it does?
What I feel you get with RBR (with the NGP physics that is in use now) that you don't really get in WRC or Dirt is a more weighty feel too the cars. The best thing about the Rallysimfans plugin is that the game is free with the download, so if you don't like it, you have not lost any money to it either 🙂
Fantastic Racing Roy
It was massively fun! The fighting, that is, not my skill issues 😆
that was pretty funny ngl good job🎉
It was the perfect way to go wrong 😁
The reason the brake circuit is faulty is they don't work flying through the trees! Haha I have crashed there WITH Pacenotes.
That one corner took out over half of the field, I think 😆 It was a fun rally, but it was also good that it did not count for any points for me 😁
13:45 loool
Nite Roy
Do you need to have a clutch and shifter for richard burns rally (rbr)? Or can i play without them? Nice rallying by the way! 😀
No need for it, the game was made for the PS2 20 years ago, so all you need to drive can fit on a standard controller 🙂
@@rallyroymadness oh alright!
Do these maps come with the Rallysimfans download? Just started RBR today and I'd like to try the stages in this championship.
When you download and run the installer you get to choose which stages you want to install. All stages are selected first time, so just let it do its thing from there, and you're good to go 🙂
Better result than the first three rounds. You have a chance for points
I think top 20 takes points, and I am currently 19th. The chance for points is there, but with the weekend still to go, I don't really expect any points from this rally either 🙂
What is your setup?
I use a Logitech G29 wheel and Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals 🙂
💘 "promosm"

Scandinavian flicks? Check. Loud 5cyl engine? Check. Yellow and red RMI paintjob? Check. Hotel? Trivago!
great shit . play rally games with bonnet cams...holly shit
Well, I am playing for having fun, and the bonnet view is what I use 🙂
Hi Roy, You done quite well in this round. No off's this time. A lot quicker than my times.
