Located in the Bay Area, California, USA. I've been an inspector for a little over Five Years, and will continue to be a student of life and science.
I'm an inspector who holds a branch 2 and 3 license with the Structural Control Board. What this means is I am allowed to search for damaged wooden members of a structure by probing and perforating, I then use this data and document and submit reports for the ordering party of my inspections. I am NOT a home inspector, I am NOT a construction inspector. I am considered a Pest Inspector who preforms Wood Destroying Organism Inspections. So yes, I can do this to homes because I get permission before hand.
I am willing to travel outside of my traditional zone (Calistoga to Gilroy/Santa Cruz) to inspect and report. Travel charges and scope of work may differ based on requested location. To me, I love the science of observing the micro-biomes that cover the world and my large local area.

Could be many different things
This is a revolutionary, new genre of asmr that has not been oversaturated and overdone. You are in my books the first building inspection artist, these videos are magic. Keep doing them and you will be rewarded. Also, the bigger hand held tapper seems to have a better sound than the tiny hand held tapper.
Wow, I never thought of it that way. That's really cool... I'm gonna have to find time to record all three tappers... Although the sounds change based on the wood type and health. (Anything recorded doesn't get posted till after a lengthy wait for safety sake)

I've used a body cam once... I'm moving and poking in such a large field the chest/hand/arm/head mount don't get everything and made me move like Batman (stiff-neck motions) to get decent shots. Setup is also more intensive... I have to focus more on my job

so what does it feel like when you side tap and then scewer, what do you feel that lets you know, OK ITS TIME TO SCEWER? is it like a sort of bouncy or softness to it? For me termite vs not termite wood is like wood with air in it so its easily portable, while not termited wood is compacted and solid.
def a difference between (types of) termites, beetles, and fungus damage... The vibrations do change, hard to explain without handing someone an awl and say, "Here, feel"

Any time it's someone doing an inspection or evaluation with purpose, it lights up that part of my brain. Happens with sci-fi a lot, they're just moving random stuff around but purposefully.
