Love the content bro please keep it up
Beautiful Peterbilt! ❤❤❤ Is it a 351, 350 or a 281?
@@ryanpoulin5144 I am not sure about the model
@@brotherhoodofram8967 okay. Thanks anyway.

getting flashbacks from Duel XD
It'll be back on the road before you know it. Thanks for the update Ram Man.
TRULY I TRULY REMEMBER THE FIRST TRUCK I DROVE THE HOOD OPENED THAT WAY .
That would be a blown up 6.0 lmao
I'm curious as to what motor is in there. Looks like a nice restorable truck but should have frame inspected thoroughly first. The frame is the truck's backbone. Also find out if frame is reinforced and what design frame is on there. Usually dump/mixer and/or 6X6 tractor frames are heavier than on-highway model duty frames, with deeper "C" channel web sections and thicker web sections and flanges, maybe even higher yield strength in the frame steel alloy than a standard on-highway duty tractor frame. Previous owner history would be useful. I always like the clean and sturdy design of the IHC Paystar 5000 series tractors! I wish they still made them today.
@petermalanchuk8210 engine wise I believe it's an 8v92 detroit or the 8v71 I don't recall what the frame was like however being a northern truck running the salt belt it was probably pretty rough
It costs to buy and operate yet it earns money for you.
One of these days I'll get to see you in a truck with leather seats. Nice truck Ram Man.
Wow! Hopefully you can get another 1998-2002 Dodge truck soon.
That's a beautiful 1st gen
@@truckcommander9690 Thank you
I actually sat in both models of ram
سلام عالی بود ❤❤❤
Looks to me a 664 clark 353 Detroit' early mid 70s or 666 with a 453 Detroit serial number is stamped on the frame on some i have had behind the cab by the top center pin and on the builder's plate inside by the winch control? Or steering blade lever?
It's definitely an old workhorse Ram Man.
looks like they still use the old dozer as well!
I actually got to talk to the owner, amd he said they are going to service it and dress up roads in the woods
That would be a good way to use it going forward what heavy equipment do you mostly run?
@@silverado15 mostly excavators and payloaders Amd shovel loggers
@@brotherhoodofram8967 cool thanks
If its green frame probably my old builders transport rig; i but it if its available.
The Pete looks to have a Cat model 1673. The Mack looked to have a Mack tip-turbin 300hp or the 285plus engine. The Mack most likely had a Mack 6sp giving good control to the winch. Luv those old work trucks.
Thanks for the new videos Ram Man.
That's a wide variety of trees and a full day's work. Picturesque scenery too.
That’s a em6 285 Mack engine in that 686s one of the best engines Made by Mack the RD 685s had the 237 Mack engine
That gearbox is a Mack 6spd Mud stick 5 gears in reverse 5 forward gotta be extremely heavy or nasty off-road conditions for LO in the compound I would use compound LO and 1 st or 2nd gear in the main for curb pouring when I drive a DM 686 sx Mack Mixer truck perfect speed for doing curb pouring the good ole days drivers today have it made AC auto gear box nice plush interior bullshit to all that I’ll drive an ole Mack anytime
I drove my friend Dave’s RD 686 sx rolloff 300 Mack with a 5 spd great truck more character than todays plastic crap
I haven't seen anything from you in a while Ram Man. I hope you're doing ok.
Doing well Just been too busy to do any videos is all
@@brotherhoodofram8967 I hope you'll get back to it when you can.
Save it
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Checking out your channel. Nice Camaro. Mine was a 77 with a 350. Love that body style! Nice Harley as well, even though I’m not much of a motorcycle fan. One can still appreciate a nice bike though! I am a Dodge Ram fan! Blessings.😎🤩✌️
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 Checking this video out again. Is there an update on this fine old truck? I haven’t looked yet, but I shall after this. Would be a shame to let this rig set much longer. Would love to hear it run! I have gone from owning 2 trucks two years ago to 6 old trucks now. My brother passed away & I’ve taken over his trucks. I sure have my work cut out for me. Hope you’re well my friend. Blessings. 🥰😎✌️
Yes
When you see a Mack R-Model and/or DM model, the twin stick transmission is a 6-speed which is a 5-speed main box w/ compound gear (or it can be a 5-speed w/ overdrive). Nice find.
Good to know I didnt know that about them thanks for telling me
You're welcome.@@brotherhoodofram8967
5 on the main LO HI reverse on the compound stick 5 speeds reverse there usually called Mud Sticks
The international paystar 5000 was built from 1972 until 1999 this one is from 1974 to 1977 model
Those are Dayton style wheels
not a transtar not a 9670 not a 9800 but a 9700 with a dingle or double bunker pro sleeper
The build date is literally on the door tag
Looks more like a 1973 model.
13 speed
Flatbed looks pretty good
It sounds good but I'm wondering how hard it is to wash off the diesel soot. ?
It actually wasnt too bad honestly It comes off pretty good with hot water
@@brotherhoodofram8967 ok. Thanks Ram Man.
Interesting. I’ve always seen single exhaust on diesel.
Duals arent as common. My dad likes them a lot. A little different but unique
Nice. Looks good
You're right - red splitter = 13 spd, grey splitter would be 18 spd
Oooh! 350 Iron Nose. .. Magnificent
Be careful around those 351’s and 281’s! They like to chase little red Plymouths!
Good old duel Great movie
Dodge ram 1500 5.2 is good until 200,000 thousand miles, and then comes the real problems. The transmission issues and the plenum gasket problems. Keep in mind that Dodge didn't make it easy to work on these trucks.
That’s a 359 EXHD. You can tell tell by the longer panel behind the front wheel
FLC120 and FLD
The west coast logtruck has the Chalmers suspension.
Good to know Thanks
I would love to find one them walk through cabover for some parts from it?
It's a 13 speed
