Just went to Bottle Beach today. September 28th. The only way to Bottle Beach is to walk a very steep river bed, sandy road that has 1 foot deep crevices and SEVERE erosion. The only way down is to walk the 3 kilometres or pay 100 bhat PER PERSON each way to get to the beach. Cars and scooters are banned on the road. We had no idea we would have to pay 600 bhat to visit the beach. Also quite a disappointing snorkel. We were not alone in our expectations of the bay. Water was murky and the bay is one monotone colour while snorkelling. Seemed like lots of dead coral etc

Would be much better if the ''Angkor Wat'' is still in Thailand's territory but sadly not...and later it seem the ''Angkor Wat'' is in the wrong hand person as it once flown as a flag for the ''Khmer Rouge'' or the Red Khmer as you just call.....and yet no mythical power from the ''Ankor Wat'' ascend down from the heaven to safe the million innocent life of the Cambodian people.........seriously no joke.

Anyway I enjoyed the look around Kampot. Very different to Cape Town and South Africa.

Any tourist shops and excursions are a complete rip off in Cambodia..eg. Anka Wat $37...........I buy black peppercorns for a fraction of that price in Aldi UK....and they don't actually grow in the UK....work it out for yourself. Any towns in South East Asia have red light districts.............only old retired guys can live there all year round as the retirement visa in Cambodia is the cheapest option. Young girls flock to these areas to make easy cash to support their families in the villages.......The lady in the video is obviously from Eastern Europe where the same practices take place...........so really hypercritical from my point of view..
