This was one of my favorite parts of this game. It wasn't even canon to the events of the original, but it was very thrilling to experience!

Advent is my favorite and really rings homes the "ultimatum" and "everything is on the line" vibe of the theme. So epic

I play this in the back and turn the bgm off in ff14 while I pvp in frontlines, makes for a more epic match and the music helps me to take more risks on Gunbreaker.

I remember once time I had a LP of FF7 classic playing; I wasn't paying much attention, was typing posts or something in another window. It got to the battle that used what is now the Phase 3 theme...and when I heard that familiar descending arpeggio, it completely snapped me out of what I was concentrating on, and I exclaimed aloud (in my otherwise empty room) "OH SHIT, JENOVA!" Not so with Remake. One thing about Remake that annoyed me is the amount of teasing of classic material...extended teasing, so much so that by the time they pay it off (like with Phase 3 of this battle) you are just so worn down, you _don't care anymore._ I'm an older gamer, there's just too much flash and flare and glitter on the screen, I can't even see what the characters are frickin' _doing!_ I stalled out early in Remake, and I'm NOT buying a new console for the privilege of playing two more games that have clearly left me and my AARP-territory reflexes in the dust. I'll stick to my PS2; games on that at least play the way I expect them to.

I absolutely love how there's a constant drone in the background throughout this song, made to sound like helicopter blades. Great addition to detail 👌not sure what instrument it's made from, strings? Guitar maybe? Masterful 🙏🎵

This song hits so hard, both here and in Rebirth.

You know, I never thought I'd love a soundtrack more than John William's composition for STAR WARS. Then,. I hear Kaoru Wada's composition for Inu-Yasha and Nobuo Uematsu's composition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth and I see how talented Japan is.

God I love how this is practically an Ace Combat song in Final Fantasy.

I swear this is one of the best parts of the game.

Phase 3 is definitely my favorite part of the theme for this boss fight
