Some Kind Of Quest (Official)
มุมมอง 28K8 ปีที่แล้ว
What happens when artwork becomes life’s work? When creator becomes a caretaker? SOME KIND OF QUEST, from Sylvain Labs, Greencard Pictures and director, Andrew Wilcox, is a film that invites you into the singular world of Northlandz, a 52,000-square-foot model train installation just 75 minutes outside of Manhattan, and into the ornery mind of the man-and steadfast wife-who brought it all to life.

Hello
This is so cool! I could easily spend a few hours there.
Visited Northlandz today (July, 2022) and this place is a total treasure! Everyone should try to see it!
I was there
I’m glad Bruce sold and the layout is now begin updated and renovated. Sadly he just couldn’t keep up with the renovations
I met him when I went back in 2009
when you do something you love, it wouldn't feel like a JOB. vote this up if you agree.
Northlandz is a national treasure. I live not far from it, and we are very happy to see it re-opened last month!
This guy wants to build more...lmao
so you took train to Brewster, NY from grand central? why you didn't just bike from Astoria to tarry town then take train from Tarry town to grand central. im going to do that unless you think bike path is not good as from brewster to tarry town? im going to cheat by riding on my electric bike probably will take 2 hours only
You heard him, anyone can do it as he says it's not rocket science all you need is wanting to do something with your life. Some people keep ants as pets because their social structures are quite similar to ours and they need almost no space or care. Just a matter of how much you want from life.
were are the steam engines
Northlandz is awesome....I visited this place....a must for anyone living in NJ...Bruce seems to be a sweet old guy....
Is thoes ho scale
HO gauge trains :)
Hello SMT, big fan of your channel!!
Am I the only one who wants to wear a Godzilla suit in there and rage??
Was it HO or N scail
HO, you can tell by the model power locomotives...
How do you only have 26 subs? This is fucking amaze balls.
You are a truly incredible, remarkable man, with a god given talent, i truly hope to be able to see this incredible lifes work before my life is over.
I have the train bug and am also a filmmaker. I Loved the shot revealing the row of train power transformers being turned on. I have that very transformer. One transformer...omg.
Thank You for your gift! I wish I could see it.
This is more than just a toy train set. Incredible!
Bruce Zaccagnino has me now firmly convinced that if Leonardo da Vinci had model trains in his own day his sketches would have been all model layouts.
something u wont believe...the guy doesnt really like trains the scenery is the priority . I beleive after meeting him the layout has consumed him...He had the best wife in the world...he is very intolerant of others...i didnt realize it but i think i came along just after his wife died...he was very angry....and yes his getting older and he needs help..sadly when hes gone like all greats...his life long work will be appreciated more...
dopeness
Northlands is the best! This guy is incredible
wonderful short film! stylish creation about a fascinating guy.
truly a work of art! i fly RC model aircraft and i share the same passion for them as you do for your trains. thank you for sharing!
sad
I think this is the antithesis of sad. Absurd? Maybe, interesting and wildy creative? Most definitely. This man had a drive inside of him, something profoundly engaged him and he curated a vastly unique and inspiring project.
Magical!
