At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if all of us wanting a HD 3D Classic game will just make a mod designed to be a perfect transition of the Classic gameplay to 3D in Gens (including Insta Shield), and we all start making entire custom levels designed around that mod.
SRB2 basically is exactly what you are describing
@@ThemFish75 I said "HD" (I know I said something like "all 3D Sonic games should be low poly because it makes it easier to make huge levels", but SRB2 levels are slightly boxed in, so that type of design, with the mandatory addition of loops and half pipes, would be easier to make in HD) also, since I'm more into the Sonic series for the art and characters, my opinions on games are more focused on art style rather than gameplay, and I (personally) am not the biggest fan of SRB2's art direction. I'm more into Sonic CD's and Knuckles Chaotix's art styles because of how surreal they are. In my opinion, surrealism is integral to original SegaSonic-... and I'm rambling on, am I?
@@Osy_za_OC TECHNICALLY in order for something to be “HD” it must pass the minimum requirement of 1280 x 720 pixels. Not only does SRB2 meet these requirements, but it actually far surpasses it
@@Osy_za_OC so, if we were to follow the definition of High Definition (HD) graphics, SRB2 is an HD game. The polygonal count of objects has nothing to do with if a game is HD or not
@@Osy_za_OCto add onto my point further; Sonic Robo Blast 2 containing no loops/spirals is not a HD problem, rather a problem with how the modified DOOM Legacy engine functions. This is also the same reason as to why most levels feel boxed in

I don't know what this zone has to do with the Game Gear/Master System game but you got a really good run.
Bridge Zone is the second zone in the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 meaning that it is exclusive to the Sega Master System & Game Gear versions of Sonic 1
@@ThemFish75I know that, I probably played the Game Gear version more than the Genesis verison lol. What I'm saying is the level itself barely resembles the level in the 8-bit game, design wise at least, maybe the aesthetics are similar but that's about it.

If you jump at just the right time on that small hill the player for some reason carry’s more of their speed into their jump. (Don’t ask me why, I have no idea)
