I’ve been using a 6x10 cargo trailer for the last 26 years. Best thing I did for transport. Had an old van before that. I’ve been a dj for 36 years.

Great video! I too, have Phenyx PTU 71B, handheld and lavalier. How many guests outside would you say the EVERSE 8 or EVERSE 12 are appropriate for? Thanks
@@djmikebuck6341 it really depends on other factors. In most venues we do here in Texas barn style wedding guests range from 75-150 I would use the EV8. For 150-200 I would use the EV12. And for more than 200 I would link them together and use both!
What are the possible ways and means to link two Everse 12 for an outdoor event of about 500 guests?@@James.KingHTX
Thank you very much for the great review! That is a very clean and easy setup! Also, I've NEVER seen the POLARIS stand before. Can you think of any situation where a tripod would be recommended over using a Polaris stand? Seems like the best way to go. Keep up the great work!
@@DJMaSoySauce yeah definitely check out the Polaris stand! IDJNow sells a pair and they are not too expensive! The only downside where a tripod is better is if you are setting up on uneven ground like in the grass and the flat base can not sit flat. Then you need a tripod!

Amazing review man! That’s awesome you have both! I don’t have them but these really seem like the king of the battery powered speakers!! Also really cool to see how you use that comica set to catch for some extra audio! I like that it’s not the main mic but more of a support mic. Great job!!

Have you heard the Monoprice SRD215? I am torn between the 2 and spec'd and price similarly, both great reviews as well Do you know if these have bracing inside like the Monoprice does? How much better sounding and louder are your EV speakers? Torn between the 2 MP and PR brands to buy a pair, but Maybe buy a single EV and a 2nd later....
@@BARBELLS-AND-BUDS I will definitely check out the Monoprice. I have never even heard of that one. The EV is much much louder!! It’s like college Vs Pro level! But you can rock a smaller party with 2 ProReck speakers for sure!

Ha Ha Great question!!! So I have a really big problem with buying DJ Gear! 1 - I am lazy and didn't want to remove the Rane 1 from my DJ Furniture. 2 - I really loved my old DDJ 1000 from Pioneer so I wanted to try the Rev 7!! 3 - I found a great deal for the Rev 7 on FB Marketplace I could not pass up! Do I need the Rev 7 - NO!!!! Should I have bought it - NO!!!!! But I can not help myself sometimes lol!! I fully admit that!

I purchased this speaker because of the blind sound test that “Harvest of Sound Boston” did at their conference. Professional DJ’s across the country voted this as the best sounding speaker in the small column array category. It surprised everyone that it won. I used it at a small birthday party in a restaurant last night. The sound blew me away! I normally use my Bose l1 compacts for smaller gigs but I think I will retire them now. The bass and clarity of the speakers are just so much better. I’m going to go buy another 1 today while they are still $499. Lol.

🤣 I already ordered my 2nd lol I was skeptical of the Harbinger brand and just being a gear snob. I was on vacation when I saw that post, ordered one and checked it out tonight as soon as we got home and ordered a second. I also ordered their 12" sub and will probably use this for my small events.

I just bought a pair n ordered 15ft electric cords on amazon...I also saw a video on you tube where you can hook up a subwoofer to give it more Bass....How far apart do you recomend i should place them When djng
I place them on either side of my DJ booth facing out a little. Also depends on the Dance Floor. If you are far away from the dance floor then place them on the edges of the dance floor.
Hey James, I'm with you on this one. I swung by Guitar Center to grab a portable Bluetooth speaker and, man, they shipped it to me before I could even give it a listen (the Harbinger), but when I finally did, I thought it sounded great. as far as the Bluetooth that’s just an added feature for me. I’m gonna run it hardwire.

21:00 . regarding Seans comment the middle tier his necessary to raise height of the highs. If you take a standard 12" speaker and put it on a pole the tweeters would be at that same height.

Hey Dj James. Thanks for making a video on this product. I have two of these units. I use these for my weddings which are no more than 75-100 people in a medium room. These things are crazy good. You need to run them through a external mixer to get more control. The fact the come with covers for the column and sub is crazy. These thing hit. I yet to clip these speakers. Get another one you wont be. disappointed.

Beautiful trailer, excited to get one myself. Just anxious about trailers in a big city and hotel parking/valet situations- I’m in Miami and it’s a lot of tight spaces.
@@cloudthedj yeah man in your situation you may want to think about getting a bigger vehicle instead. We have lots of room out in Texas. With a lot of Barn Venues.

I can figurate, EV it’s really good brand, but the price it’s little be bigger for me now, I am a singer whit guitar and background music (like karaoke) in restaurants and backyards party’s .. I need something plug and play, already now I work with two 15” PA (V2215 and V2315) and one sub 18” (V2318) to Harbinger brand.. sound good but it’s little be heavy for set up, I’m working alone 😅.. It would work great with a sub! But my favorite Budget system is the Icoa Series by LD systems!
Have you heard the speakers called Right stage by amano price super cheap. I've not heard them except on a video so no personal experience but I thought they'd be an okay platform to swap out drivers in if needed to save some money. With that said, wondering if this is a better platform to swap out drivers in The enclosure and the amp are the hardest parts for me to replicate driver swapping is so simple and I've done that with some others to make improvements like behringer 212d@@James.KingHTX
