Liked the theming and authentic feel of The Schooner bar MUCH more than The Bamboo Room. The Bamboo Room felt too austere…nothing like a real tiki bar should! The bartender, though he made you guys great tasting drinks, has no personality. Maybe he was just tired, or on “cruise” control, but I basically knew what every answer was going to be in response to your questions. He just did not want to engage. I know those people who work on cruise ships are overworked, from what I hear, but come on! You are a bartender. You are supposed to engage! Rebecca, on the other hand, was all warmth and smiles! Even if you didn’t like any of those drinks, the fact that she was so engaging and warm, as was the decor of The Schooner…I can see why you rated her 5 out of 5. Hope the whole cruise was awesome for you all!

Fun Times In Town! Mahalo!

Yes, movie palaces & theaters were once the early 20th century's true modern temples of myth & imagination, and the Mayan clearly showcases that fact.
