How to change rubber closing wheels
มุมมอง 5K4 ปีที่แล้ว
How to change rubber closing wheels on a planter. after doing several we figured out the easiest way to take off the poly spikes and reinstall the rubber wheels. we are changing them out because we traded planters.
Did you find that even after using the broom that you end up needing a shovel afterwards anyways? We just bought the milwaukee bristle brush attachment at work (at a grain elevator)because i initially had seen guys using it online in like a grain bin like you had and so I figured that if it would work in a corn bin then i figured it might work under our dryer for all of the fines and bees wings that pile up throughout the day and especially at night after everyone leaves and either me or my dad is the one that stays there with the dryer and so itll pile up deep. The milwaukee one im not sure about. I like that its battery and it does sweep decently. My dad wanted to keep the guard off since he figured i wouldnt want the extra weight(its extremely long, id guess over 6ft, and heavy as hell too). With the guard off, we can flip it upside down and pull it back towards us which makes it sooo much easier since youre not fighting against the way the bristles turn. But without the guard, the fines and fuzzies kinda just go up and right back down on the brush and then just ends up throwing them all around and when its upside down, it fills your boots quick. I seen a video a guy using his for snow but he custom made a set of wheels to be able to roll it back and forth with. Thinking thatll be what we try next.
Can it mount up to 22s inch rims?
For the stopper undo the motor pull it back a little and it goes right on
Sal jou tril suig!!! Dankie!!!
You do not need a harrow behind a Heliodor.
Why don't you and try and put it against a Lemken Heliodor and do a video.
You guys still having good luck with this? How does it do on thick ply farm tires? Would you do anything different? Looking at atlas and Weaver for farm shop. Thanks for posting
Still having good luck with it. I change tires weekly with it. From semi tires to highway implement tires. I've only had 1 i fought with and it was a low pro high ply tire, one that I don't see very often, but we got it on.
@@benk5405 Awesome, thanks for the feedback
Corn bred and corn fed windrows suck definitely electic in confined space still the dust factor
Anyone who buys this I recommend keeping a selection of extra air lines after about 3 years.
Why what’s going on with yours?
Systematically they have all started to fail from age, They are just push-in connector plastic air hoses. This machine has a ton of them. The shop next door has the exact same machine and the same thing happened to them around the same time. I also recommend replacing the metal duck head with the quick-change plastic version. @@niemdan
@@andrewr6861 I appreciate the feedback. Sounds like you would buy it again though?
yeah would buy it again I do a lot of low-profile run flats.@@niemdan
The electric weedeater power unit don’t put fumes off.
Which power head do you have?
It will be interesting at the combine to see what happens. This was my first year with vt fungicide, flew on headline sc. The untreated field got hit by southern rust. Headline wasn't great, but it did about 20bpa better. Purchased trivapro for 2022 for rust. We're really interested here in the plant health and stress reduction for fill.
What differences did you see? I'm planning to use one or the other next year. Had southern rust and some blight here. Thanks.
staygreen, gray leaf, and rust control were much better with veltyma. we have moved our farm to it 100%
