Basic DIY videos from one amateur to another. My goal is to make basic, easy to follow videos from one amateur to another that point out many of the tips and tricks that other videos leave out. I find that many professionals post home improvement / repair videos that overlook many things that aren’t so obvious to an amateur, perhaps because they’re deemed too simple for someone who has done this a million times.

Getting disc or foreign object out of a Wii #RookieRobDIY
มุมมอง 18Kปีที่แล้ว
This is an easier method than taking the whole Wii a part. Only 2 screws! This may work for ~90% of people - definitely try this before a more complicated method.
HOW TO: Fixing a Sticking / Jerky Garage Door
มุมมอง 10K3 ปีที่แล้ว
One possible solution to fix a garage door that seems to stick and jerk when opening. In my case, I believe it was due to tacky excess paint on the rubber seal leftover from when my garage doors were painted.

My weight had fallen off! Didn’t even know there was one until this video, went back on easy, thanks!
EYYY! That worked perfectly. Thank you so much for this. Didn’t want to buy a new one!
Thank you
what about a ds cart
I love you, will you marry me
THANK YOU! ❤
Thnx bro
Bro why would you say thanks? You probably broke it
Thankyou so much saved me
This was most helpful. The details and pictures with the clear instructions helped me take the works apart and put them back together again with only a few prayers that were answered. I thought i was going to remove the cartridge but did not have the right tools. Sprayed WD40 as I twisted it back and forth. The whole reason behind this event was a very hard to pull out handle and stem. All working better now! Thank you so much for posting this TH-cam help.
Thank you! The weight had fallen off into the lower cabinet. I look like a genius to my wife.
Thank you for this video! I thought I was about to get a spanking from my parents 😊
Do not do this you will break the clips on the front , there are an additional two screws to remove , one user a white rubber foot and another under the black controller cover
I shouldve read the comments before doing this lol. Oh well
i broke one and realized it before i broke the other 😂
Didn't break any of the clips, don't know what you are thinking
Thanks
Merci beaucoup!!!!!!!
What a relief it's not actually broken! Thank you so much 😄
😁👋thank you for sharing this video , very helpful, wow appreciate your tutorial God blessed you 🙏👏👏👏👏👏Bravo 😅
How can I get the metal part that screws to the head back out without taking my faucet apart?
I would of moved the weight up
what happens if there is a small leak on the left hot regulator ?
Thank You 😊 Just had my sink installed thought I broke it lol👍🏾
"That'll be $100"
Thanks a lot, a big help!!
I lost my weight inside the faucet nozzle
Omg same issue I had and I just replaced the faucet
Thank you so much
Why not soak the decorative cover, excution, and handle in vinegar before installing them back to the wall
Thank you 😭
Thx for the detailed info on orienting the hole for hot water. The original plumber got the lines backwards and this allows me to compensate for his goof from years ago Have read the instructions and watched numerous TH-cam videos on the installation and you are the only one to mention the purpose of the hole. Many thanks 🙏
Wow I was getting ready to buy a new faucet thank you for taking your time to do this not all of us are very technical🙄😔🙂
Thanks!
Did the Vaseline work?
Thank you so much for your detailed and simple explanations. And your voice is sympathetic, smooth and reassuring... inspiring an easy job! 🙂 Even it's not always the case... 🙂
Thank you very much. You saved me.
Why do you have to take off the outer cover to replace the cartridge?
Best cartridge video on TH-cam
Best video for this replacement...thx!
Excellent explanation! You hit on key points others missed. Thank you!
Tip**. U gotta push it hard to get the clip to go in,
Do you really HAVE to take off the cover?
On of the most detailed videos on this subject. Thank you!
You are awesome!! Thank you.
Good job poop 💩
Thanks
My little clip fell behind the wall do I really need it
Thank you! This had more details than the cartridge pamphlet. Great job explaining! I breezed through the replacement thanks to you.
At about 5:16 mark you put on a washer…what’s that for? Wasn’t one on the one I took out nor included in the replacement cartridge package.
Excellent video with very clear tips and explanations. Super good review before I do mine now!! Congratulations on a super job.
Thank you!
You tube videos make it look so easy and simple. Mine hasn't been changed for probably 20 years. It's all corroded and the plastic shower knob cracked while removing it. Everything is apart. But, I'm reluctant to turn off the water in an attempt to pull it out. It's really corroded.
The one that was replaced in the video was 21 years old - it was a challenge initially breaking free the old unit but I used a towel and channel locks to get it.
I'm in the same position. The sleeve won't come out. I'm mechanically inclined, and I've done this before, but it's been years. I tried putting some PB blaster on it, and wiggle it free while holding the plate in the back to not wiggle the water line with it.
Thank you so much, I was able to do the job myself very easily. very helpful 😊
