Several metaphors are reused here, which makes me think we can figure it out. Let's try to piece it together... The idea of a "city" is used multiple times. "Being born" and "living beautifully in a city of wombs", meaning: cared for, comfortable, a happy birth. So being a happy newborn or young child. Notice it's "wombs" to mean plural, so it could be a single set of wombs, or the innocence of the child. Let's continue on. "A prostitute set fire in a _faraway_ city and someone died", meaning: someone ruined a different set of wombs/innocence. This is tricky. Because if "we" live beautifully in a city of wombs, then a fire being set in a city and ending someone could mean ab*se. OR you could consider a prostitute being pregnant a way of ruining a "beautiful city" by creating an illegitimate child. Setting fire would remove the living beautifully part, so a newborn would not be cared for. Perhaps there is an illegitimate child that isn't loved. Perhaps their innocence was ruined. "Sirens and pollution" make a city awful, in a way that makes one "mad". It ruins the happiness of living. Iron rain is literally blood, so that being "nauseating" means the current city/beautiful life is polluted. Trying to "choke it down" is like trying to avoid the truth and continue on. There is an "amusement park", which is a small part of a city specifically designed to be happy. In a city of wombs where living beautifully is interrupted by pollution and sirens, a happy part could be considered heaven itself. It's a structure designed to be that way. Hiding away here in the back could mean trying to avoid the loss of innocence by using a pretty lie. Also there is the structure of being a toddler. Clapping hands and laughing. Wanting to be held. Playing with toys. Watering fake plants. Picture books. The terms "Papa and Mama". These are all spaced out through the song to narrate youth being interrupted by these events. "Drinking paint dry." So paint can be colorful like a rainbow, it can make a pretty painting of a rainbow. But it's also not an actual rainbow, and drinking all of the fakeness drains it's color and it changes your perception. Lemmings lead each other into falling off cliffs. This could be considered the inability to avoid losing innocence. This means "death" to the singer, who doesn't want to grow "tough". If "Papa and Mama" made a mistake, and the sibling from the same city the singer is addressing is praying to reverse it, and there's a prostitute who ruined a different child's innocence, then that could insinuate infidelity. That means corruption of a different city of wombs/happiness. But it's both of the singer's parents, meaning both have made living in this city of innocence nauseating. Time to add it all up. The singer doesn't want to be mature or tough. They want to hide in an amusement park, a fake heaven from the world, to maintain their innocence and to be comforted, and to not walk on their own. This city of innocence is "maddingly" ruined by the sirens of maturing. But in that same polluted way, the dream that this song has been about, has been telling them to instead live. The prostitute's child might just mean somebody else who was forced to mature early, to face life as it is, and that's what the singer sees as death. And at the end, the singer decides the falseness (picture books) of innocence is worthless, and wants to burn it and live. So basically: "I had this dream about us living a falsely beautiful life of infancy that was corrupted. I wanted to hide as it was ruined. But you can hear that this dream is actually telling us to live, right?" I suppose this fits Kaneki well...

I think he feels in his heart like he's a little dog, and when she says "if i were to raise a dog, it'd be a big one" it set off his insecurity in some way. It may or may not have meant anything about him when she said it, but its a memory of the past that's haunting him just the same. Or maybe it could have less to do with his ego but it's still a moment where she may have started to pull away from him. His future is "pure red" and he's making a lot of sacrifices to try and "detoxify" this memory and what it set off within him.
