I like the idea, but your first demonstration of the drill has way too much forward movement of the body. If that was corrected it would be great

When he strides he needs to try to stay a little more balanced. Also needs to lead his swing with his torso, and for max power creation needs to try to not let his back foot spin, but instead release and slide back if he needs to. This should help.

Catcher was nice, but not really deadly. It was noob baserunning. He got no jump at all on the pitch. He was too still and upright when he got his lead and too upright when he took off, and remained too high when he ran.
