Any moisture barrier?
Hi, In this case, this wall is an interior wall. What you are describing pertains to important principles for moisture protection in buildings, especially regarding exterior walls and basements. Here is a summary and some clarifications of the points you mentioned: 1. **Interior and Exterior Walls**: It is important to understand the difference between interior and exterior walls when considering moisture protection. 2. **Installation of Studs**: When studs are installed on an exterior wall, it can be beneficial to install them slightly away from the wall itself (e.g., 20 mm) to create an air gap. This can help reduce the risk of moisture problems. 3. **Vapor Barrier**: The use of a vapor barrier on exterior walls, particularly in basement areas, must be carefully considered: - If more than half of the exterior wall has been backfilled with materials (such as soil or other backfill), it is advisable to avoid a vapor barrier. This is because the vapor barrier can impede natural drying and lead to moisture accumulation. - An interior vapor barrier can be problematic with large fill heights, as it may prevent the building from drying properly, potentially resulting in moisture issues within the structure. 4. **General Advice**: It is best to have a holistic view of the moisture conditions surrounding the building, including drainage, insulation, ventilation, and material choices, to ensure that the building remains dry and free from moisture problems.
Amazing🎉
Amazing end product eh🙌
I like your work, it looks so easy when you do it.
Wow
How much would that reduce the sound of foot steps ?? 40%?? Can you please let me know how effective that method was?
@@Kfjebfu65 In order to achieve good step and air noise in floor separators, the ceiling must be vibration-insulated from the joists using sound brackets . The ceiling should consist of two layers of plasterboard.
Amazing🎉
Just use Gyproc RB66
