I wouldn’t call the fox mad; it would have had rabies. But since it looked scared and tried backing away from you, despite the trap prevented it from running until you released it, that red little canine is healthy.

Another nice coyote Mark, keep hammering them Buddy. I'm not a fan of checking traps before daylight either, just this Christmas morning I was checking fisher sets at 5:00 am and while at a set I heard something in the tree right above my set, I heard it hit the ground and dang, it was a nice fisher. I guess I'll never know what would have happened if i had come later.

Not sure what the trapping community thinks, but I think it is a responsible and ethical thing to set off traps that you can't attend. One of my pet peeves on the water are people who abandoned fishing and crab lines along with other fishing equipment that hurts the ecosystem. I like to think that ethical and responsible behavior is rewarded. Keep stacking that fur!

Another good day. I'm actually pretty amazed at how much you trap. I think that's why I keep watching lol. Hopefully the bad weather misses you. We're supposed to get some pretty nasty stuff starting this evening. It stinks to get old. Seems the knees are always one of the first things to go. I'm speaking from my own personal knee problems lol. Glad the knee pads help you. Seems it was the perfect gift.
