For someone who had ARFID im happy to see you can eat pretty healthy and good foods . Don’t worry about being repetitive… so many people without arfid are also repetitive. At least you are getting some pretty decent things in 🙏🏼❤️

I've just discovered I've got ARFID. I am so sensitive to texture and smell. When I was a child it felt like my stomach just shut and there was no point swallowing. I lived on toated cheese EVERY night for tea My mum took me to the doctor. He said I must be getting something from the air because I was never ill. I struggle with disordered eating, which has included on what I would define as "junk food." I just wanna tell you that ALL foods fit, and can be healthy in some way. Sure, chips and cookies and such may not be as nutrient dense, but they can also bring enjoyment for our brains, which we need, as our mental health is so important. So are food related traditions that we may have with our friends and loved ones. If you ate those day in and day out, would they feel good to your body? Maybe not. However, it is totally fine to have something that just makes you feel good on a regular basis (something I'm working on myself).

I know it's sometime down the line now, since you had it done, but thank you for this video. I am in the UK and have been told I need a Root Canal and am petrified. I have never had any good dental experiences, especially the last one, with a hygienist, that resulted in lifelong nerve damage, in the form of relentless Trigeminal Neuralgia pain, so I am really suffering mentally as well as physically right now. I heard about this procedure as a minimally invasive procedure, which appeals to me very much. Lol. I have Aspergers and Contamination O.C.D., As well as I was sexually abused as a kid in a dentist during an appointment, (the guy is in jai now), so touching me, is an issue for my broken Brain. I really struggled to find any video showing the actual procedure with gentle wave, until yours. I know it is a while ago but do you remember if you heard any noises of the procedure? apart from the initial drilling. I'm super hyper sensitive, to sensory things, but if I know there's noises, I can brace myself. Also does the Crown feel any different in your mouth to your other teeth? Sorry for the weird question. I'm freaking out about a Crown really badly, for fear of different feeling, and because of the O.C.D. Thanks again for uploading this video. You have no idea how much easier it makes things to see an honest review of a scary procedure. Thank you.

I liked this video. And I agree with trying to replace unhealthy with healthy. However, I eat so little that it’s hard to do. Steak, bacon and hamburger are the only meats I’ll eat, mustard is the only condiment (and that’s due to type 2 diabetes) pasta, pizza, ribs, and few other things. No fruits, no vegetables, no processed meats (hot dogs, bologna. Etc) And I’m 60 so this won’t go away.

I'm beyond nervous was it sore after procedure at all? My tooth is front incisor. it's very sore and sensitive to hot and cold stuff

Tried the Dylon today on a white 100% cotton curtain and it worked a dream, however the white thread that I used to take it up wasn't 100% cotton and remained white 😯🤣.

Thank you so much for this because not many people know about arfid and i wish they did, especially my classmates & staff giving me a hard time abt it in food tech (which I don't have to do anymore bc I didn't pick it as a GCSE option lol)

I use the Dylon All in 1 for my generic cotton hoodies and sweatpants, and it works great. It's pretty hassle free too, compared to boiling pots full of water and worrying about staining everything with the dye. Just have to keep in mind that one pod is for 600g/21.16oz(dry weight) of fabric to full shade. Or about a hoodie worth of dye for full shade. Should not be used for the following materials either; wool, silk, synthetic/artificial fibers and materials, and items with nylon stitches.
