That same OLD mindset + LIES from the 50s, 60s...thankful that I got educated and stopped smoking after only a few years!! Now these LIES extend to VAPING...our LUNGS were not designed to handle anything inhaled but OXYGEN!!

As a physician I have never smoked and know how very harmful smoking is . . .but. Everyone over the age of six knows that tobacco is bad for you. We even knew that it was bad in the 50's and 60's. If you smoke you were not tricked into doing so; you already knew that it was bad and made a conscious choice to do so. Why do we feel the need to play the victim so often these days? Be adult or at least mature and accept personal responsibility for you're actions and decisions. Grow up.

This commercial is for FUTURE smokers, not regular smokers. Tobacco companies are attacked every day, but since they put a warning on their labels, they aren't liable for YOU. This is just a fun and morbid way to tell you that, hey, smoking kills, so don't start, it's not a "wake up call" for any already smoking people.

I know this is supposed to be "in your face" about the dangers of tobacco, but... I laughed hard when I first saw this commercial.

i saw this on " the Hobbit" dvd. I have no idea why tho I'm guessing it may have something to do with there being smoking in the film. Another reason I thought the dvd was a fake (got it from a redbox machine) was that this ad is from 2006 (or earlier) and "The Hobbit" is a 2012 film. *headdesk* I can't even. X(

Even though smokers don't blow smoke in peoples faces doesn't mean other people won't inhale it. Second hand smoke is worse -I heard it was 80% more damaging than the 20% of what smokers inhale.

It's a parody soft drink ads. But what does that have to do with smoking?

When I first saw it, I would have NEEEVVVEEERRR guessed it was about smoking.

But when it comes right down to it, does the number of poisons matter? 1 pack of cigarettes=101 poisons more than rat poison. Go ahead, smoke a pack. You may not feel well after you're done with the whole thing, but you'll probably be able to walk home. Then go to the supermarket, buy a bottle of rat poison and chug it. Well, that's a trip to the hospital. Not saying that smoking is good, but saying how many poisons there are is little more than base fear tactics. There's no real logic to it.

Smoking is so bad, it kills people and yes that's a fact. My mother is dying slowly but surely. She won't live to 60. But this commercial, is so damn funny.

I remember the first time I saw this on tv, i was like 14 and half way through I was so excited about trying a soda that awesome... then the truth came out.... it doesn't exist.
