A youtube shorts video perhaps is not the best media vehicle to measure how many people would be interested in your product. You could have it announced in a platform that functions via submissions, for instance
@@duqueadriano0081 Hi, thanks for the suggestion! Could you give me an example of such a platform?
@@extremepianochannel I'm not sure how to do it myself, but what I had in mind, given you have a website (if I recall correctly) would be to have a preferably big ad with an option in your website for people to submit their email addresses if they're interested. That way, a bot would send them an email with information and updates. That's how most online courses/businesses do it
@@duqueadriano0081 Thanks, I'll do just that!
hello
Monstro! Parabéns!
Sorry but it’s à very bad interpretation. Why playing so fast ? It’s a race !
I happen to like it. To each his own......
sheets?
@@adrianobersano7466 Not for now, I don't have access to notation programs like Sibeliius (I only have a tablet with keyboard, not a computer).
I just want you to tell me how to play those octaves that fast. Why tf would you buy a course for mulitple hundreds of dollars when you can get quite a few 1 on 1 lessons with a piano professor for that
@benarr8689 There's much more to playing the piano than octaves. In matters of technique, I'm practically self-taught- hardly anyone taught me technique, so I had to figure it out almost all by myself. But even if were to tell you how to practice octaves most effectively, there's no guarantee you will be able to play them that fast.
Really nice!
You're playing it in sixths too 😮 That was totally crazy!
Haha, you're the only person so far who pointed that out! You are correct; also, there are some sixth-chords in there, too.

Very good BUT it looks like a recipe for RSI.
You might have a point; I certainly don't recommend trying to play it this way!

@@iKawai14 Oh, come on this is MUCH harder!!!!!!
@ nahh id say s140 is harder js because of the octave chord jumps all done by the left hand and they're jumps not js octave runs and but tbf i personally do find octave runs much more tiring so its definitely competition 👍👍
I've added octaves to pieces but this is next level
I personaly think 3 has been slowed down and 4 and 5 have been sped up. And really interesting video ideia, I don't think I have made and active effort to pay so much attention on a pianist hands before, made me realize the crazy amount of experience each and every song carries, well done!
@@isadoraluisa6732 Thanks! I will announce the correct alterations before the end of this month.
How about playing with the hand itself upside down? Palms up?

Carpal tunnel says hi
Hi, Carpal!
This is how Liszt plays Chopin etudes im thinking
@@adrianjoshua2778 Actually, it was Dreyschock that played this etude like this. Liszt played Op. 25, #2 in octaves.
@ thank you for the insight 🙂
Why is there a delay in your left hand
@@bananarepublic3440 Oh, that's complicated to explain..... but the simplest explanation is that it would sound too simple and obvious if it were played exactly in time..... from the rhetorical point of view, the delay is like someone leaning in a doorway and saying, "yeah really?" to the right hand.... the delay kind of represents the leaning....
@@extremepianochannelso it's an interpretational thing? Can't say it sounds good... Where did you even get this idea from? Does anyone else play like this?
I can't say exactly where I got the idea from, but check out Horowitz's rendition of Chopin's Scherzo #1 from "The Last Romantic". If you listen extremely closely, the right hand is playing just slightly ahead of the left hand there. There are other examples, but I can't think of them offhand...
My man must be a masochist, torturing himself like this. this is crazy exhausting. Super impressive!
@@Fanchen Yes, masochist is the word!!!!

@@danielhughes441 I don't know what you mean by "successfully"; it sounds great to me.....😏

Ironically, I was simply trying to make sure people understand exactly what I intended. And check out RachManJohn's channel- I talk like a third-grader compared to him.....
Precipitatooo! Bravo 👏👏
Maybe fantaisie impromptu in octaves?
That would take too much time to practice!!!!
🤩🤩🤩
How do you balance between having your arm somewhat tense for accuracy (of tone color and/or hitting the right keys) and having it relaxed, thus reducing the accuracy and precision?
@@bananarepublic3440 That is such a complex question, I would have to practically create an entire course explaining that. I am considering creating a technique course for pianists; however, for it to be profitable for me and not end up wasting time, I would need to have at least a few hundred applicants to warrant even starting to proceed with that.
@extremepianochannel That's understandable. Do you have any quick tips or guidelines for practicing Chopin's etude op. 10 no. 8 in F major? I'm trying to wrap my head around how to play the right hand fast and relaxed but rhythmically consistently and maintaining the brilliance. If I try fast and relaxed, it soon starts sounding sloppy/uneven. If I try fast and articulated, I'm too tense and it hurts. Moreover, how can I avoid fatigue when practicing this piece in tempo? Thanks for any answer. And if you provide none, that's alright, have a good day.
@@bananarepublic3440 Again, that in itself is a complex question that would probably not only warrant a complex explanation, but monitoring of the student by a competent professional. I suggest you find a teacher who is adept at explaining such things- I dont know where you live, but, needless to say, some pats of the world are far more advanced in this respect than others.
Omg fastest I have ever heard
You are my favourite piano youtuber. I think you can play this fast because you are not tense. What are the best exercises to master all the technique at piano? The exercises to be not tense at all.
Thanks so much!!! It's great to know that I have some true fans.... As for exercises to warm up, I can think of no better one than the ones in this video: th-cam.com/video/67Ea8ABhd0c/w-d-xo.html As for octaves, I will soon publish a video explaining how I practice octaves. Honestly though, regarding the best tips on how to practice, I have considered creating a video course explaining how to acquire a good technique; but it would take me over a whole month or two to create; and unless enough people signed up for it, it would not be profitable at all for me and drain up much of my time and resources. So, unless over a hundred people signed up for it and were willing to pay half the price in advance, I just wouldn't even consider going forth with it for now. That might change though, if I get enough requests.
@@extremepianochannel Thank you so much, I will try these exercises. I already use a similar exercise, the no 26 of the Dohnanyi's book "Essential finger exercises".
Outstanding technique. Could any pianist alive play this piece at this insane tempo?
@@sambafamba There was, several years ago, a recording of a pianist named Mei-Ting Sun playing this at this tempo, or maybe even slightly faster, on TH-cam (but with no video, only audio and pictures). And I believe that there are at least a couple of pianists who could play it this fast. Also remember, I'm taking several right-hand notes with the left hand in this video, in order to facilitate it (at least I'm not leaving any of those notes out!)
Wtf... I can't play a simple chromatic scale that fast 😂 outstanding 👏

What is the most tecnically skilled pianist in the history for you?
@@GiulioFattivoni Unfortunately, we can never know how the pianists of the 19th century really played, for the simple reason that recording equipment was not available at that time. It is said that the pianists of that era with the greatest techniques were Liszt, Dreyschock, and Alkan. However, since the beginning of the recording age, I can tell you that the greatest pianists, from the point of sheer technique and velocity, are: Josef Lhevinne (both by recordings and accounts of his playing) Vladimir Horowitz Martha Argerich Cyprien Katsaris Jozef Kapustka (for some reason this guy isn't that famous) Alexei Grynyuk Freddy Kempf Also, Gyorgy Cziffra had an incredible finger technique, but with regard to octaves, he was quite behind the above-mentioned. I believe that the above-mentioned pianists are the greatest I have ever heard, in terms of pure velocity and technical command.
@extremepianochannel Thank you. I didn't know Kapustka and Kempf. I will also include Cziffrain that list because I don't think his octaves are so far from the others. I will also say that only Argerich and Cziffra play almost without any effort, even when they were in an andavnced age. Argerich more than Cziffra also because Cziffra in his life has passed a lot of tragic events and destroyed his physique with alcool, smoke, cancer and labour camps during the war. I think he would be even more techincal without these problems.
@@GiulioFattivoni Yes, I agree!!!
Omg. Your technique is amazing. Can you do a video in which you explain the right octave tecnique?
