branch change is hard but not impossible you will have to study very hard throughout the first year and get minimum 9+ cgpa only then u can change branch to cse that too if seats are vacant in ur category be it gen/obc/sc/st and lastly first year syllabus is same for all branches

Hello sir this year my OBC rank is 4.6k and I'm unable to get a good NIT for CSE ( just getting northeast ones ) I'm getting IIIT Jabalpur CSE IIIT Pune CSE IIIT Guwahati CSE IIIT Gwalior IT integrated (5 yrs) ... Pls suggest me the best option as soon as possible since counselling will be starting soon ?

Dear Sir, I hope this message finds you well as I am planning to join this college. I have two questions regarding the college that I was hoping you could help me with: 1)How would you rate the quality of the mess food? I've heard some concerns about it not being up to standard and some even claming it to be terrible. 2)Also, I've come across comments suggesting that the placements, even for CSE/ECE, are on a decline. Could you please shed some light on the current placement scenario? Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I greatly appreciate it.
The mess food is getting better now, even non veg is being served at mess now plus non veg is now available in canteens also Talking about placements due to recession placements have been affected thats true but since you will be joining this year means '25 batch the placements will be good to go by 2028 when you graduate from college so I dont think placemetns will be any issue if u go with CSE or ECE of IIITDMJ

In one year u get 4 months holidays from college 3 months summer vacation and one month after ur odd semesters
