Welcome to my locksport channel! I focus primarily on single pin picking (SPP) locks of various types, but from time to time may have videos on other subjects. These videos are geared towards individuals in the lockpicking community but may be of interest to those who generally want to understand locks better. I try to start each picking video with an overview of the lock I'm working on and it's security features before picking. Warning - sometimes the picking sections can run long, with varying levels of commentary depending on how much focus I need. I occasionally do more informational videos as well. If you'd like to learn more about lockpicking, check the links below.
All the locks seen in these videos are owned by me or on loan and none are in use. I haven't received compensation from any company whose products may be shown or mentioned in a video. I am a hobbyist and not a professional locksmith, so take any information presented here as my opinion only.

Lockwood V7, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 52614 วันที่ผ่านมา
Pick and gut of a Lockwood V7. This is a pin tumbler lock with 7 pins which enter the keyway in 2 rows from different angles. This lock also has spools security pins and is rated blue belt in the LPU belt system. 0:00 - Overview 3:40 - Picking starts 8:50 - Open and gutting starts 13:00 - Gutting complete, view of pins
Nemef NF2, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 7921 วันที่ผ่านมา
Pick and gut of a Nemef NF2 - this lock is rated purple in the LPU belt system, and has a variety of interesting security drivers. 0:00 - Picking 4:45 - Open and gut 10:30 - Fully gutted 12:00 - In depth look at pins
Opnus TZ, picked
มุมมอง 902 หลายเดือนก่อน
Opened around 5:20. This is a little 3 row dimple lock. While I didn't gut it, the key indicates at least 9 pins and the lock acted like it has spools or mushroom pins.
AGC Lock, picked
มุมมอง 694 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pick of a Portuguese lock, branded AGC. This is a cruciform, or 4 directional, pin tumbler lock. 13 pins and felt like a lot of spools, but not super difficult to pick. I didn't gut this one because it looks like it would be fairly onerous to put back together, so you'll have to take my word for it. 0:00 - Overview 5:30 - Picking 9:25 - Open
Union Lock, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 895 หลายเดือนก่อน
5 pin lock branded "Union." Nothing really special about it, quick open.
AGE Tube Lock, picked
มุมมอง 506 หลายเดือนก่อน
Very quick video of an AGE Tube Lock, a very simple lock I picked up from Japan.
Fehu, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 457 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pick and gut of the challenge lock Fehu, from highpowerSR! Thanks!
Alpha Z Cam, picked
มุมมอง 758 หลายเดือนก่อน
Quick pick of an Alpha Z cam lock. There are a few styles of this lock, this was is 10 pins and possible some key control on the top row, but I don't believe the third row is active pins. I did not gut this as it was on loan, but felt like it had a couple spools in it.
Abus GDS, barrel version, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 348 หลายเดือนก่อน
The second version of the Abus GDS, this one features barrel drivers, but no matched milling. 0:00 - Overview 3:10 - Picking 4:00 - Open and gutting begins
Abus GDS (tree version), picked and gutted
มุมมอง 498 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pick and gut of an Abus GDS lock with xmas tree and tapered drivers. These are newer locks labeled as "GDS" by Abus. There are actually 2 versions of these, one with trees and one with barrels, but they have the same part number at the retailer I ordered from. It seems like the tree version has a square keybow and the barrel version has a trapezoid keybow, but that's still being determined. I t...
Commando Lock
มุมมอง 5810 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pick of a Commando brand padlock - this one was pretty simple - felt like a few spools at best, but an easy pick despite "premium anti-pick technology,"
Trioving 55## - Picked and gutted
มุมมอง 7810 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pick and gut of a Trioving 55 model. This lock is interesting because of the tight tolerances and the trampoline spools. The reverse hourglass shape of the spools means you often have to lift them through 2 counterrotations, and the tolerances make the pins ping pong quite a bit. Not incredibly difficult, but definitely a challenge! 0:00 - Overview 3:40 - Picking 7:15 - Open and gutting 10:20 -...
Royal Guardian, picked and gutted
มุมมอง 116ปีที่แล้ว
Pick and gut of a Royal Guardian cylinder. While broadly a pretty easy pin-in-pin dimple, this lock has a somewhat unique set of trap pins that are designed to brick the lock if it is picked incorrectly. Activating the trap requires the lock to be disassembled to reset. More info on the trap system is located here: th-cam.com/video/ehB6df5eOLA/w-d-xo.html I essentially used a second tensioner a...

Crazy lock for sure man! Those pins tho! Nice open!
Those are some wild looking pins!! Excellent work, and Thanks for giving us such a cool look at the internals!
Nice Nosu tray!
Very cool lock
Lockwood is a pretty good product
Very nice job🦮🦔👍
Do you have a barrel version that I could borrow or buy? It’s been on my list for ages.
💗💗💗
Great pick. I've picked mine a couple of times. You and georgia Jim both seem to use a lot lighter tension than i do. I watched artichoke2000's videos, and he suggested heavy tension. Is lighter tension the way to go?
If im not mistaken, this is the lpu blue belt version, right?
Correct - the round key is blue. I have a flat key version as well I haven't picked yet.
@redwanderer I just got both in the mail today. They are actually better made than what I was expecting.
neat lock, bud. nice pick and thanks for sharing!
Nothing amazing, but neat nonetheless!
Fascinating lock.. nice
Great pick and gut. I just got mine picked to both but had to watch a gut to make sure I didn't mess up too bad.🤙🤙
Great pick!! And thanks for the thorough dive into these… I’m currently struggling with a gen 2 padlock
Man I’ve been robbed of notifications! I’ve been to five channels in hadnt seen drops for and sure as shit, they been going. Just aint been notified! Really good pick man! That was crackin fast! 👏👏🤘😎. Hopefully this puts ya in my my feed again!
Oh, I haven't been posting much lately. Hoping to pick back up over the summer!
I see the Peterson, what hook did you use on it with that high lift on the back pin?
I used a jimy longs short hook on the whole thing. The rear pin wasn't bad because it was so far back I could angle appropriately, but I did have some issues with oversetting pin 4 as I was learning this. In the front the angle was bad enough that I had to pick off the upper section of warding to get the last little lift.
Nice picking.
Nice lock, great picking and gutting. Have a great day, thanks for the view
Thanks! You as well.
Great stuff Red Wanderer! Nice Quick pick and gut! Cool lock!
Cool lock, nice background. first look at the thumbnail pic looked like the lock and tentacle were one... have a great day
Nice one mate 👍 Interesting lock, difficult to pick if you didn't know! All the best to you and yours 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻
Thanks! Yeah, it was a weird one.
Very cool! I have always found these locks interesting! Thanks for sharing that!
Thanks for watching!
interesting lock. at first it reminded me of the pagoda locks, lol.
A little like the pagodas, yeah. Much easier given you can tension by hand.
"Not sure what to call this mechanism." Open. Good job Red.😎
Thanks!
That was quick
Huh. That’s a fun little lock!
great video, very informative! I look forward to stepping up to picking that lock to get my red belt!
There's 3 of these on a bridge, I'm definitely going to get them now, the options are pick or cut and I'd rather have them in my collection then in the scrap bin, thank you for this.
What kind of pick profile are you using. Looks interesting
It's a flag from Multipick - part of the G-Pro series.
Very nice picking! looked like a lot of pic pressure required!
Nice picking. I love these hpc dimples.
Well picked 👍 awesome that you organized a group buy for the community 👌 very interesting locks 👍 thanos for sharing your thoughts
Not a problem - I'm still a little annoyed that we got 2 versions, but it is what it is.
Nice, ty!
excellent job, buddy!
Thank you kindly!
Nice picking. What belt do you think this would fall under?
Thats some precise pickin!🙌.i hope to be as great as you one day red ❤.keep up the great work 👍

Nice picking and open. 😎
Thanks! Felt good to get a video out again.
This is not easy, those false gates are killing me, well done!
Can you provide the dimensions of your pick? Thanks, great video!
Nice video and pick 👍 old style 5520 indoor. Inf From 2013 and up to 2018 all new Triovings regular and d12 etc was named Trioving Assa abloy on the lock and key. Afther 2018 only Assa abloy on the new one. Assa abloy has buy alots of lock companies.
Nice picking as usual. Did you ever figure out the model number?
Dont become lpl only picking trash
That was quick!
This lock was honestly a little sad.
Nice picking.
Thanks!
Nice picking 😀👍🐾🐈⬛🐈🐾👏
Thank you 😁- This one wasn't hard.
Very nice indeed, enjoyed your demonstration 👍 All the best to you and yours mate 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻
Thanks 👍
Haven't caught one of your vids in a while, still killin' it! I've been going at my keyless, 7 pin, same keyway Vingcard for years off and on, still just lots and lots of ping pong. Been in my naughty bucket longer than any other lock lol. Cheers!
Nice explanation and picking! I've not experienced trampoline pins before (except maybe in a CL). Trioving is a Norwegian manufacturer? Neat little oval. 😄
Great picking red. Those spools look interesting.
