Great podcast and subject. We are the small Mom & Pop shop that Angie mentioned and love hearing from other small business owners. It's a great way to learn and pick up on things that can be donw diffrently.

Lightning in a bottle? Us Clawsons out in western New Mexico are still waiting for the run off for our lakes to fill. Defiantly good advice, but home is home. One of my favorite memories of Nashville trips in the nineties was staying at my Uncle Jerry's while passing through Amarillo. Maybe time to try it just one more time. Love your music and songs.

The best thing G ever told us anglers was....a few years after he got mainstream...he said, The dream is free but the hustle will cost you" that my friend is straight up truth!! And that was wayy before any high school or college ever started.. and wayy before the days of borrowing your buddies waypoint chip.

This great couple is giving you some great advice! When gerald said,"I just want to fish" and lulu handled everything off water....that's the least selfish statement he can make!! If you are gonna compete and have success in professional fishing you quickly realize fishing has to consume your mind and mindset...fishing is one of the most physically consuming sport that you will ever experience! A nfl football game or baseball has no where near the physical withdrawal that a 4 day bass competition has..(dont forget several days scouting before game day that's 7/8 days on the water from daylight to late in the evening) .Ole G is in the top 10 successful marketer's that there has ever been... and lulu is the backbone to it all

Good advice. In the end, I think it is best to be yourself and like Dena said, own your mistakes. If you are yourself, do the right thing, consider others/sponsors and be authentic, people will see that. People are way smarter than we give them credit for; even with drama, eventually everyone will see the truth over time. Just be you and know your best is good enough and keep on focusing on the positive. Thanks for the video.

Boy does this speak to me. I just turned 50 and retired 3 months ago to pursue pro angling and exploring America. I agree..what are we waiting for? Life is too short to put off your dreams. Even if it's tough, it is so worth the leap.
