Did it up to the pass in the nineties. We started on a clear day, but at noon snowy weather started and when we approached the pass it was covered with dense fog and visibility was down to three meters. I was with a guide and he wanted to go from the pass into the fog. I knew that this sort of knifey pass is dangerous and refused. We went down a little to the cliffs with the chains as seen in the video. But back than no chains were there and the steps were covered with very thick snow. He started to climb the snowy step and I refused again yelling at him to come down. He told me to follow him and all will be good but I didn't trust him. Those cliffs with snow are dangerous. I started scrambling back down the pass to go back to langtang valley. All in all I was in Nepal for three months and have great memories from there.

I had a trek up to Gumbatara back in Baishak. Amazing adventure and mesmerizing landscapes on the way.
