Lovely display fabulous aircraft, I often wonder what a Mustang with RR Griffon would have offered, and would it have been worthwhile etc. I think the Merlin /P51 was Probably such a perfectly integrated package it would have been a bit pointless?

I was up at roden which is close to Raf Shawbury, those A400m's were practicing and doing holding patterns above us for well over a hour before they headed towards you. Also the voyager was also above us in a alternative practice loop , at one stage it split between the two A400m's which was slightly wild...

She flew low over my boat one day. Being ex RAF and a War Birds fan , it gave me such a buzz. Beautiful...

For me, this is the fighter that won the BOB.

What an ugly looking plane, modern ones like the Typhoon and Hawk T2 look way better :)
