To be fair, she has valid reasons and also isn't actually wrong. The Dalish are so up their own asses about a history that isn't even correct and blaming everyone else for their problems. Looking down on City Elves for not being elfy enough and clinging to past hatred so hard they're unable to actually move towards the future. Uncle Ruckus is just racist for no reason

@@patrickschulz2193 Fen, refers to wolf, like in fen'harel. Edh-is, when combined, means something along the lines of his safety/ his privacy. Lasa means to give something, given that elvish is highly dependant on context and intent, given how solas said it as an insult, it can be interpreted as go f*ck a wolf's d!ck or something along the lines of that, probably some weird elvish insult

Still, even with someone far more knowledgeable, I think only the writer of that dialogue know what it is supposed to mean

The Blight came from the fade, when tevinters intruded on the black city, Ancient Elves are trapped in the fade. The Blight is something he knows, it comes from the knowledge of the old Elves.

The blight likely didn't appear during The Second Sin of the Tevinter Magisters. Corypheus says the Black City was empty and already evil. The fact it was empty drives him to become a god to help the world. I'm inclined to believe him. He's one of the only people directly stated to have tried to reach the city, and claim what he saw. The Blight is likely from before the fall of Arlathan, as there are texts describing one of the Evanuris interacting with "The Void" and losing herself to it. I think the Evanuris started using the Blight and becoming corrupted with it. The Evanuris likely corrupted Arlathon to the Black City, and Solas used the creation of the fade to keep the city as it was. So the Second Sin was likely responsible for bringing Blight to Thedas, but indont think it created or was the first use of blight.

Spoilers btw but duh What's funny is that if you read the Codexes, it actually explains his uprising more so than not I think. They almost straight out say Solas is a spirit in the beginning in The Fade codex, it goes on about how spirits can not "imagine" they simply just slip into people's dreams, and create the worlds of the people they peep on. That's why Solas thinks of Haven when he brings the inquisitor to The Fade. It also says "Even the most powerful demons merely plagiarize the worst thoughts and fears of mortals, and build their realms with no other ambition than to taste life." And if that doesn't scream Solas Bad Guy I dont know what does. Also the reason it is important demons and spirits can not imagine, and is very crucial to this statement for the fact that if you talk to Solas in the beginning about the fade during times of haven, he mentions his inability to create, to imagine... to be human. He also holds spirits in very high regard, like they would be one of his own. He almost doesn't feel remorse for many other species, right ? But he feels for spirits, like Cole or Mythal. I'd like to hear your own opinions and consipiricies, this is just mine :)

@@jeannielancaster5350 he led an uprising against the gods, that takes PLENTY of imagination. He also insists on his own mortality. Spirits also dont do magic the way he does. What Solas is is likely a mage who made a pact with a kind spirit (see that side quest from Jaws of Hakkon, or Ameridan who mentions 'my spirit companion.' It's also very likely Mythal did as well and that fragment is what carries 'Mythal' on to this day, though this part is speculation). Also I'm pretty sure spirits dont undergo uthenera, they just get 'reborn' - but Solas slept for millenia.

​@@NhuLe-cm3nwSolas literally means pride in elven, his dread wolf form also has 6 eyes like a pride demon. He likely is some variation of pride originally and become an elf in a similar way to how Cole became human

@@411marcos he's saying because of his experience he realises his suffering alone is nothing compared to the whole world. He recognises this which allows him to live an easier life with less turbulence.. that's how I interpret it at least.

@@411marcos I think cole is referring to solas's guilt and regret for destroying the elven empire or the pain of what he has to do next to current thedas after cory is defeated.
