Wensleydale Concert Series began in May 2015 to bring all year round concerts to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the UK.
Each year we invite a wide variety of outstanding musicians to perform concerts (usually between March and October).
Our aim is to encourage an interest in classical music locally, supporting people who find it difficult to travel long distances to concert venues and especially to involve young people and amateur musicians through workshops and 'meet the artists' outreach sessions.
Most concerts are recorded and this channel (started in summer 2018) showcases some of the outstanding performances through the years. New concert footage will be added after concerts and as time permits past concerts will also be featured.
Many thanks to all the artists who agree to us featuring their performances.

Based on the original sources there is no evidence that it belongs to the suite. Also it is in the “wrong” key, strongly suggesting that it does not belong with the other movements.
